There ain't no fucking bears here.

Coyotes could eat me, but it'd take a pack of them. They aren't as big as you'd think.

Yeah, but I'll be laughing my ass off when you are all drowning in the Tsunamis.
I'm well enough inland and high enough from sea level where it's not a concern. If it's a concern for me, the whole world has issues.

Now, the Yellowstone Caldera... good luck with that one.

American Graffiti

Now this is a pretty boring movie. A hell of a lot better then the prequels (this movie was also written and directed George Lucas), but still kinda meh. It kinda suffers from the same problem all "One night with a group of High School Kids" movies have in that it wanders too much and has a pretty weak story. Dazed and Confused does that too, but it pulled it off better then this one did.

Right now I'm watching The Jerk.

Balls of Fury.

Stupid, but pretty funny.

"Really?"
"No."

Return of the Jedi (Original 1983 theatrical version)

It's kinda funny that I own all three of these "Limited Editions" and the original versions of these films are pushed back to the bonus disc on all three, despite the fact that this was the main selling point of them. In fact I've never even put disc 1 in my DVD on any of them. I liked the original Max Rebo number thank you very much. And it's funny that that this is the only Retard Wars movie I saw in the theater during it's first run.

I liked the new Ewok song. The original felt as goofy as the new Jabba number.

Casino Royale (1967)

This thing was a cluster fuck. I think it would have helped if I was high when I saw it, but not much. Turns out this thing had four directors and four scripts and Orson Wells refused to Peter Sellers, who also got fired before finishing all his shots.

What's sad is that despite all this, it sticks closer to the source material then movies like Moonraker or The Spy Who Loved Me did. This movie is also the reason that it took till 2006 for the first Bond Novel to be adapted into a proper Bond film.

But the 2006 version had poker instead of bacarat!

You can only imagine the psychos who think that matters.

I watched most of Aladdin online and then we Netflixed The Little Mermaid.  It was uber-retarded too because we originally wanted Aladdin and it's unavailable.  FAIL.

The Fourth Kind.

This movie would have OK if it hadn't lied to me. It was pretty clear from the first non-regression "Actual Footage", which was a man going nuts and killing his family seen through a police dash camera, that it was all BS. It just got worse as more and more stuff appeared on film that was just too good.

I think if it had just gone all fiction and then gave me some stats on "Fourth Kind" encounters then it would have worked better.

Yeah, first time. So far so good, though Christian Bale seems more of a side character right now.

I disliked the ending. OMG HIS HEART DOESN'T WORK! OMG! I WILL GIVE HIM MINE!!!

So many things wrong with it, especially after Marcus displayed how badass he was and how kickass he would be as an ally. I did enjoy the Arnold-like cameo. The fight between John and the T-800 was nicely done to acknowledge the fight from the first two. I also liked how it kindof ignored the third film, though I don't know if that was intentional. If anything, I hated how John and his wife/squeeze were supposedly in their 40's (2018, with John being a little kid in the 90s) yet both looked like late 20s early 30s even after two+ decades of a war.

The most interesting characters were the pilot and Marcus. I really wish he'd survived to continue the franchise. What would really have been interesting would have been if he sired a child.

Christian Bale was AWESOME as Patrick Bateman and as Alfred Borden. He was pretty good in Batman Begins, and kind of meh in the Dark Knight. In Terminator Salvation, he was just being Batman again. Noticed that his name in American Pyscho was Bat(e)man, and his character in the Prestige was Alfred. Crazy foreshadowing there.
