She must. Bale would have been 16 when Pretty Woman came out.

Of course he was in it.  He was the tool telling Julia Roberts that shit in the store was "very expensive"  But that was a big mistake.  Big.  HUGE.

The Razor: Sword of Justice, aka, Hanzo the Razor: Sword of Justice, aka Goyôkiba.

Imagine Shaft set the Edo period, right down to the waka wacha waka music and the hero sexing confessions out of the ladies.

I finally saw Ponyo.  It lost steam for me at the end.  I was glad at least someone called out that the damn fish had a fucking human face.  Sheesh.

I saw Kick Ass twice.  Awesome movie, albeit a lot darker than I was expecting.

Also finally saw Law Abiding Citizen which was pretty rad.

I said its hot outside let me go swimming in your eyes;
We been running for awhile. Why don't you lay dow, I'll make you smile.
I could never ask for nothing better than this;
It's just tequila and the beach, it's quite salty when we kiss.

Aw, suck.  You should've overruled him.

I actually find though I tend to enjoy the non-Miyazaki Ghibli more: Isao Takahata's stuff (specifically Only Yesterday and Pom Poko, I won't touch Grave of the Fireflies and I haven't gotten to the Yamadas one yet) and Kondo's wonderful Whisper of the Heart.  (I don't count Goro Miyazaki because, well, nobody else does.  Ho ho.  Anyway, I haven't seen Earthsea yet.)

Yeah, that's exactly why I didn't want to see it.  I've heard it's fantastic but a tear-jerker.  I don't like jerky things of the tear variety.

Yeah, my only problem with it was the wierdness of the plot as it moved along. I got the story as a whole. I thought it was a nice love story mixed in with a heavy amount of Kevin Smith/Judd Apatow comedy. Not bad at all.

One odd thing, Elizabeth Banks is nearly ten years older than Seth Rogen yet they play two people the same age. It's odd, because usually the woman is portrayed as older than the actress is and the man as younger. To see the roles reversed was refreshing.

Kevin Smith should just Make Clerks 3, or Mallrats 2. He's much better in his own element. Example: Jersey Girl/Cop Out.

I think I would enjoy a Mallrats 2. I do not think they should do another Clerks ... but then again I did not think the should do the second one, either, and I loved it. Plus Rosario Dawson's tits  bouncing when she was teaching him how to dance was memorizing. I could watch that scene on a loop for hours. Days even, maybe weeks.

I also enjoyed those nice bouncing tits. I'm pissed that Rosario had to turn down Zach and Miri because she was contracted to another, and even shittier film. If she had been in it, we would've seen Miri newd.

Mall Rats 2 would never be made. Now, a Dogma 2 would be epic.

There actually WAS going to be a Mallrats 2, but since the first one tanked the plans where scrapped. What really sucks for me is that a mall in KC was all set up to be the Mall in Mallrats, but when the owners got the script they backed out cause of it's rude and perverted content.

And yeah I was iffy about Clerks 2. Especially when he was calling it "The Passion of the Clerks.", but now it is my favorite of all of Kevin Smith's movies. Even going so far as to say it's better then the first Clerks.

The last movie I saw was New Moon.  I thought it sucked.  I didn't care for Bella's major depression and bouts of screaming fits.  I worry that young girls will think this is normal break-up behavior.
