I just watched The Lakehouse and now I have a bigger crush on Keanu Reeves. Damn that Charlize Theron (sp? whatevs) is a lucky hoe

I didn't even know she broke up with Stuart Townsend.   :o  Dude!  And I also liked The Lakehouse.

I read spoilers for Moon specifically because I didn't want to see it.  Heard it was good... but no.

I saw Emma with Long-necked Paltrow as the lead.  Ew, tons of miscast.  Most too old, some too young.  Total fail.

Lol I read the spoilers before watching The Lakehouse. I didn't want to be surprised, although the ending made me a little teary-eyed :'(

I watched Cloverfield last night.  Pretty good flick, though I think I was better off watching it on a mall computer screen instead of in the theatre.  JJ Abrams needs to cool it with the shaky cam a little.

I'm going to the Drive-in tonight to watch Iron Man 2. I've heard mixed reviews but I remain optimistic.
I said its hot outside let me go swimming in your eyes;
We been running for awhile. Why don't you lay dow, I'll make you smile.
I could never ask for nothing better than this;

Already saw it.

I loved it!

The only review I agree with is the one that says there is

I am about to go buy Iron Man minimates because I liked it so much.

The Machete trailer looked fucking preachy as fuck and it was actually pretty obnoxious. I expected that movie to be about SENSELESS VIOLENCE but now it is about IMMIGRATION. GOD DAMN IT.

Super 8 ... not sure.

I enjoyed Iron Man 2. I didn't think it suffered from too many new characters (it only had three, two villians and a new hero) nor was it too confusing. Tony's Dad had a partner he kinda screwed over and the son decided to get revenge while Tony's financial competitor decides to back him. How confusing is that? Tony continues to be an amaing bastard, though I am pissed because I was told we would have cameos of Thor and Captain America in the film. Showing their weapons does not count! Having Iron Man at the end of the Hulk movie counted. BLAH!

Otherwise, good job. We also saw 'How to Train Your Dragon' (drive-in double feature), which was awesome. I enjoyed it. Iron Man 2 was still better.

I dont know, I cant see Robert Downey Jr as a badass. He looks nerdy. And not Tobey Mcguire in Spiderman nerdy, but like Michael Cera in Superbad nerdy

Okay, watching the Yamadas right now and it's boring as fuck.  I get what it's supposed to be, but I could read this shit faster than I could sit down watching it.  As a short here and there it would've been cute, but as a movie it draaaaags.

Drive-In? Color me Jealous.

We have a drive-in double feature here as well. It's where I saw the last Harry Potter film.

Watched The Graduate. How did Dustin Hoffman got so famous? his acting SUCKSSSS in that movie. Also, if I hear "hello darkness my old friend" one more time I'm going to kill someone

I love how the ending of Wayne's World 2 is a total spoof of this movie. Family guy also did a spoof of it, when Peter tries to turn Chris Jewish.

And while searching for that episode, I found this TL;DR movie that claims that Family Guy is Jewish Propoganda. I actually DID listen to it, and the guy's full of crap, using bad evidence and slipping in a couple minutes to deny the Holocaust. And then there's a photo of a person at the end which I think is him, which explains everything as he looks like a typical white rural redneck militia ayran klansman. I guess when you live in the middle of nowhere there's nothing much else to do than hate jews and blacks and plot the downfall of the US.
I like to go down to the playground and watch the kids run and jump and scream, because they don't know I'm only using blanks.

Modern anime is a stagnant cesspool of regurgitated ideas.

Oh, and I last watched Excalibur, this somewhat okay movie from the very early 80s. It's described as epic, maybe in 80s terms. The battle scenes were anything but epic.

The movie does star some big names though, including Patrick Stewart as Leodegrance, Guinevere's father and Arthur's main supporter; Liam Neeson as Sir Gawain, the guy who reveals Lancelot's affair with Guinevere; and Helen Mirren as the evil Sorceress Morgana and Arthur's half-sister.

I saw a sucky, dragging movie called Vanaja.  Actually, I ff most of it.

I also ff through most of Confessions of a Shopaholic.  On this movie, I have to say that visually it's beautiful.  (Not up to Curse of Golden Flower standards, but damn good looking.)  In addition, Isla Fisher looks so cute and Leslie Bibb is beyond hot.  So much of this movie is purty to look at it but, man, the "story" is weak and personality of the main character is very irritating.  The picture below doesn't do Leslie Bibb or that dress she's wearing justice but it looked dynamite in the film.  Pity the sum of the product was a piece of shit.

No I didn't.  I thought the characters were more annoying than they should have been. Spike Jonze was probably going for that but it really took all of the fun out of the movie.

I still haven't seen it yet.  To be honest, I never thought the book as all that in the first place so the movie never interested me that much.

Speaking of Empire, I rented and watched Something Something Something Dark Side. Not quite as good as the first one I thought, but had some funny moments.

Ironically, they premiered the entire movie, edited and cut for TV, last night on Fox.
