I watched The Men Who Stared at Goats last weekend. I found it quite entertaining if a little bit silly.

Have you seen the Green Lantern one?  I'm on the fence about that.  Stuck the Batman one in my queue.

I've seen it. It's ok, but then I thought the Wonder Woman one was just ok too. I really liked Justice League: New Frontier though if you haven't seen that one.

Ha ha, and when it's gone, brother, it's GONE.  Seriously tho, why hasn't he joined it already?  His Terminator/True Lies days are over.  He's possibly doing TWO Avatar sequels.  Game over, man.

Tim Burton is really relying too much on being effin' weird.  Sorry buster, that doesn't replace a piss-poor story and characters.

With Cameron I think it is just because it's been so long since I saw a movie directed by him. The last one was Titanic. And I tend to give a director a pass on one movie I didn't like. I'm sure the next Avatar movie will be worse then this one and then he'll be on the list at that point.

Burton's pass was Mars Attacks. I hated it! Loathed it! But then Sleepy Hollow came out and I really liked it. So I thought all was well in the world, but nooooooo then came Planet of the Apes, then Sweeny Todd, and now Alice in Wonderland. Charlie and the Chocolate Factory was ok, just ok.

Lucas' pass was The Phantom Menace, Then Attack of the Clones happened, then Revenge, then IJ and KOTCS. Lucas would have to do a lot to get off the list at this point. It was just one suck after another, and he had more to live up to then say Burton or Cameron did.

Spielberg's pass was A.I. But then came Minority Report, War of the Worlds, and KOTCS. Spielberg isn't in as deep as Lucas because he had a few good ones in there too like Saving Pirvate Ryan, and Catch Me if you Can. Course KOTCS  was so bad he might not ever get off the list either.

Well, let's see.

I rented Legion from the dollar movie dispenser at the grocery store. It was mildly entertaining but was more of a horror flick than the action flick I was hoping for. Almost everyone dies. The angels looked pretty badass but you only saw two of them for more than a second. I was more expecting this flick where God decides to start the apocalypse and legions of angels and demons just start kicking each other's asses in the sky, angel and demon blood flying everywhere.

I watched the two Robot Chicken St*r WarzzZZ specials and the third one is coming soon. I actually found these a lot funnier than Family Guy's spoofs of St*r WarzzZZ.

And I watched Evolution for the first time ever. And what an entertaining movie it was. Not sure why I missed this until now.
I like to go down to the playground and watch the kids run and jump and scream, because they don't know I'm only using blanks.

Modern anime is a stagnant cesspool of regurgitated ideas.

I saw Delírios de um Anormal. English title: Hallucinations of a Deranged Mind. Now this is a Zé do Caixão, or Coffin Joe, movie. It's actually the 2nd one I've seen as I've watched Estranha Hospedaria dos Prazeres (The Strange Hostel of Naked Pleasures) last Halloween. I once called that one of the worst movies I'd ever seen. This one however was worse.

Pretty much it's just a bunch of, what had to be LSD inspired visuals of hell, strung together with only a loose story. It's actually about 70 mins of badly edited shots of people being tortured in hell with bad SFX, and about 16 mins of story in which were are told that these are the nightmares of a crazy man they are trying to cure. I think that would I have been high at the time of viewing things would have made more sense, but then I couldn't have read the sub...not that it would have mattered much since there was so little story here.

No...not a lot. It has some, but not nearly as much as the title would suggest. It's actually about Coffin Joe collecting evil souls in Hostel which was like a waiting room for hell.

I finished watching the Batman: Gotham Knight thing.  It was cool.  I wanted to see Catwoman though.  Poo.  I'd like them to do moar.

I also saw a movie called The Maid that was in some form of Spanish.  It started off interesting and promised to be out of the ordinary.... then wore its welcome half-way through and ended rather predictably.

BASEketball. A cult film from the late 80s staring the creators of South Park. I actually really like this movie. It's one of my guilty pleasures.

More like 90s.

That and Orgasmo are some of the funniest movies ever.

I have not, I was curious. I usually enjoy Japanese films.

I watched a movie which I think translated to a man, a woman, and a wall, something like that. It is on Netflix streaming. This guy is basically snooping on his hot neighbor with microphones, finds out her boyfriend is also snooping on her with microphones and cameras, and is calling her to get her scared so he can masturbate in the car and then come and comfort her. Crazy fucking movie. The next door neighbor snooper ends up with her in the end. It was interesting.

What I'm hearing is that if you stalk and spy on a girl she'll end up loving you.
