What I'm hearing is that if you stalk and spy on a girl she'll end up loving you.

Also, chicks really dig it when you break into their bedrooms and watch them sleep.  Especially if you wear a pair of fangs and cover your chest in glitter.

That doesn't mean anything.  Who doesn't own a copy of Howard the Duck?

I said its hot outside let me go swimming in your eyes;

I could never ask for nothing better than this;

I watched this French movie, Blue Beard.  Man, it sucked blue balls.  There were several sequences of nothing happening in the goddamn thing.

I also saw Justice League: The New Frontier.  Very decent.  Batman's voice really put me off.  That laryngitis was more serious than Bale's.  I'm glad he didn't talk much.  Seriously, I think Kevin Conroy should be given the role until he is either mute or dead.

Watched ZombieLand and Extract today.

I prefered Extract, though Zombie Land wins for best cameo.

I'm actually watching SW at the moment. But it's the shitty SE. The Greedo shots first scene is so laughable that I don't even know why he bothered with it.

Honestly, he kinda ruined those movies for me.  I don't think I've sat down and watched a St*r WarzzZZ anything since Attack of the Clones.  Actually, I think the very moment they were ruined for good was when I saw that still from Jedi that inserted Hayden Christensen (sp?).  I think I actually felt my dead future self rolling over in my grave.  Only now I wonder why I wasn't cremated per my wishes and then I recall that the idea of being burned like that is scary.  But being stuck in the ground is also kinda scary.  And what if I'm not really dead when they burn me?  Or my soul or whatever is still inside of my body and goes through the horrors of being burnt, embalmed, or buried?  I'm glad I ultimately don't have a say in this.  What were we talking about again?

I try to act like the SE and Prequels don't exist. It's hard to do since all three SE and two prequels are in my DVD shelf, but I have found peace if I just act like they are not there and only watch the originals. It gives me a nice warm feeling inside, instead of the "Hole where my soul should be feeling" that the SE give me. Hell some times I pop in my old CBS/FOX VHS copies for that real nostalgia high.

And wasn't there a Tales from the Crypt like that?

Yeah so did I. I remember the poor stiff (pun intended) got put on meat hook at one point.

And I just saw To Kill a Mocking Bird(1962). I had read the book in Junior High, but never saw the movie version till tonight.

Watched Ju On (the jap version/ original of the Grudge) and surprisingly it sucked. The american version is waaay better. It's still scary though. And no I dont like Buffy but yes I like Bill Pullman

I liked Ju-On.  To be fair, neither one was really my kind of movie.

The American version is not called Ju-On, so I think she means the Japanese.

Let's see, what have I seen lately?

Ah, I rented Curse of the Golden Flower because Nuri mentioned it. It was pretty good, but seriously disappointed in the ending.

Spoiler (hover to show)
I like to go down to the playground and watch the kids run and jump and scream, because they don't know I'm only using blanks.

Modern anime is a stagnant cesspool of regurgitated ideas.

"Neither one" meaning neither Ju-On or The Grudge.

But you said you liked Ju-On! How confusing!

After reading Doug's spoiler, I think I have already seen Curse of the Golden Flower but forgot.

I did like it.  I just don't generally care for those sorts of movies.  I liked it in a "well, that wasn't a total waste of time and I'm pretty entertained" kind of way.  Not in a "omg, this thing rocks, imma gonna buy it and watch it again" kinda way.

Oh and I saw Superman/Batman: Public Enemies.  So far, this is my favorite one of the DCUAOMs.  (Damn, that's one fucking long acronym.)  Supes, Bats, and Lex, all in one place and all voiced by the right people.  It did feel a bit on the short side and sometimes felt like one awesome TV episode instead of a movie.  But I watched it a couple more times.  Gets the Nuribeck seal of approval.

I liked that except for the end with toyman. A giant robot? Really?

Anyway I'm watching Dracula. The 1931 one with Bela Lugosi. One good thing about this whole Twilight thing is Wal-Mart is trying to cash in as much as possible and have a whole display of Vampire and Werewolf movies. Most of it is crap, but I was able to snag the old Universal versions of Dracula and The Wolf Man.

How can you be surprised that a universe that has telepathic gorillas and star conquering starfish would also have giant toy robots?
