Went to the midnight showing.

My thoughts on it without spoilers:
It's basically a typical Michael Bay movie. You go for the explosions and action. The story is superfluous and shallow and spotty, which works with Transformers, I believe, because ultimately? You go to see giant robots kicking each others ass, blowing shit up, and doing cool car-to-robot-to-car tricks. You don't really care why they're doing it...you just want to see them fight because it's giant robots. This movie delivers that in spades. There's like three times as much Robot Fighting as the first movie, and it's a good...thirty or forty minutes longer? Something like that.

There was some human-related parts that were long, unneccesary, what-have you, but that's okay because it usually ended up playing out into a major fight. The parents were in there, Sam still scrabbles around, and Megan Fox has huge freakin' lips.

Well story is important to me. If I just liked Giant Robots that changed into thing fighting each other then I wouldn't care if it was the Transformer or the Gobots.

non-existent is the only way to not be disappointed. I could proably go see it and walk out and go "Well it was exactly what I expected." but I'm not paying for something I expect to be a POS.

It may just be local - a couple of theaters here are going to show the 1986 animated movie for the July 4th 1st show. We might go - I'd rather see that on the big screen again.

Fuck a Bay. I saw this movie already: It was called "Transformers" and it sucked. It was "The Island" with less story and more robots. If story doesn't matter, I think they shouldn't even pretend to have a story. Just have the robots fighting because they want to.

I wouldn't be surprised. In the first movie, the only autobot that died was Token Minority Autobot Jazz (they even have it mentioned in the article!)

And I'm getting tired of Megan Fox too. I mean I know 5 years from now she is going to be appearing in some Sci-Fi Orginal movie with Judd Nelson. You know, something like "Killer Mamoth 2: The tusking! Staring Transformers Megan Fox" but I'm tired of this chick already. I don't think she is hot...she look greasy and like she doesn't shower enough. I just kinda want her to go away now.

Never found Megan Fox that hot. I never found Angelia hot either. They're both 'certain time' hotties. The other chick that was on the talk show rounds, now she was hot. The terminator-esque chick. Much better looking than the terminator chick from the tv show.

I think Megan Fox is kinda hot but she IS kinda "greasy" too when I think about it.

Demi's kinda cute but that Selena Gomez frays my nerves. She could very well be a sweetie pie IRL but in everything I've seen her in, she's an annoying little bitch. To be fair, I've only seem Demi in bits of "Camp Rock" [more like "Camp Manufactured-Pop"] so for all I know she could be a brat in all of her roles, too.

it was ok for what it was but you cant tell whats happening in the fights that clearly they had to use slow mo to point out that something cool was happening
