It turns out Tomderrick may have been right. I talked to a photographer and he said that the agency I was at was shiesty. The thing is though I think they were generally interested in me. They didn't try to sell me pictures until I asked and they were very upfront about everything. Even so I've decided to meet with this head shot guy that talked shit about them and probably have him do my pics because his work is really good and he seems to know the business.

my photographer is still MIA, but in other news I just landed my first paid acting gig. I won't get a lot of money because its non union but it still marks the first time I'm going to get money for this. He even said that the lead has been giving him shit and he might recast me as the lead, which would pwn face.

You get paid even if you're an extra when you work on a real set too. This isn't a real set though this is a guy whose trying to break into the business on his own.

well I blew that audition.

Dropped the same line twice in a row and cut myself...but I guess cutting yourself in audition isn't that bad. Actually the way I did it was...fuck...you're supposed to stop and calmly ask if you can do it again. The way I did it I came off like the kind of guy that would do it on set.

No way I'm going to play a henchman for that thing now. There was a little box at the bottom that was asking if you would be willing to do a non speaking role. Sometimes I might be but only if I did my best and was beaten out by someone better suited for the part. In a situation like this where I fucked up and would have to watch some shit bag who I think I'm better than play the role because he auditioned better than me...nope.

The trick is to go in and make it as good as it was when you were doing it in the mirror. You do what they call "homework" and really add character to the lines then you get nervous and drop a line which causes you to get out of character and forget all the nuances you added which makes it painfully obvious that you are acting.

That picture is from about 4 months ago. I'm in much better shape now I could totally kick that guys ass. Except maybe...perhaps he's in love and has his little boobear to fight for...and I, though mightier in form, am a bitter husk long since driven mad by isolation.

I would bear down upon him with the full force of my hateful malice but in the end he would achieve SSJ4 and I would not be able to surpass SSJ3 thus ensuring my defeat.
