I've never been in a room before to hear someone else audition for the same part as me. And now that I have I've finally realized why people have been selecting me for their roles. Granted I don't know if this will hold up in LA but my highly technical theory thus far is "People suck at auditioning (and acting in general)". That's right, they suck donkey balls. It comes so naturally to me that I thought the same thing was true for everyone else.

Interesting observation. It's always off-puting when you arrive at a realization that you think may be surmountingly arrogant, yet you keep arriving at the initial conclusion when you repeatedly re-think the issue.

No one dares cast me as generic guy #7 even my virtually raw talent shines too bright for extra work. Though I did do a one liner part at FSU once to give something back for them putting me in 2 starring roles.

crap I don't know how well my infomercial audition went. I drew a blank at one point while talking about a fitness machine. Then I had to talk about those little molds that make egg Mcmuffin eggs at home. I think that went well because she threw me a curve ball question and I didn't miss a beat...

but at one point I looked directly into the camera...I know better than that ><.

No I just glanced at it...and then...I looked away.

I've decided to cut out the eye that looked away. Then I will rise up again with a full heart and give that camera the soundest beating it will ever take.

Also, A paid production of much ado about nothing is going on here. I might got out for that too, but I hope I only get a smaller part. The last time I did shakespeare I remember thinking how crazy it would be to be in the lead role and have to memorize all that iambic pentameter. The director said I had a real mastery for the language and I do, but still it's pretty intimidating.
