Boo, I didn't see this 'til late so when I got there, they appeared to have taken it down or something. However, I was still able to see it elsewhere. Thanks for the heads up about this tho. The episode had some real cute moments. Most of the previews and trailer content appeared to come from this single episode (with the rest from what's most likely episode 2), so watching it just made all of those pieces come together. I really liked the interaction between Korra and Bei Fong. And omg at one of the airbender kids asking about Zuko's mom. lol That was great.

It was awesome. I loved the probending. And there's something you gotta respect about a show that lets its heroine take a second out of her meditation to reach back and scratch her ass. So many chuckle-worthy moments. Mako and Bolin were pretty cool, too. Any other show would've played it all wrong and made them annoying but Bolin was chipper and outgoing without being obnoxious and Mako was quiet and taciturn without being emo. I like these guys.

It's going to premiere on tv on April 14th on Nick. The short answer to your second question is no. It's kinda like not needing to watch Dragon Ball before you watch Dragon Ball Z. It's good to know some of things that happened since it's tied to the history of the first series but the second series appears to be made in a way that gives a nod to the old fans and stands alone for the new ones.

The previous series stayed on Nick for the duration of its run (although I think Nicktoons got reruns) so I'm inclined to think it's going to be the same deal here.

I saw the first two episodes of this today. It wasn't bad, but it didn't blow me away either. I'll give it another chance, after all I am still watching Thudercats, but this one might have to grow on me.

You know what is pissing me off...(they've been replaying this thing like crazy on Nick) is that you know Korra gonna end up with the Mako (I think that was his name. I could look it up...but too lazy), but his bother is the nice one that actually helped her out. The lesson. You want a girl to like you, treat her like shit.

The "nice" one clearly helped her out to get his mack on. And context makes it clear that bringing groupies along is a habit of his. Given that, I wouldn't say one brother's more deserving than the other.

See that's the thing. That was his intent, but he quickly changed his tune and then championed her to join the team. I just think it is little cliche that the guy that treats the girl like crap always ends up with her. It has been done to death and you know it is coming as soon it starts to happen. I think it would be refreshing for her to not end up with either one of them to be honest, and maybe not end up with anyone.

And I doubt it will be, but I'm just gonna go out a limb now in case I turn out to be right, and say that our bad guy is in fact Aang, who isn't really dead, and has gone all "street preacher" ala Paul Atredies.

1. Aang has to be dead or Korra wouldn't be the Avatar. Since she can bend more than one element, she has to be the Avatar, thus Aang is definetely dead.

2. The girl ending up with the nice guy's what happened in the first series. The fandom wanted her to end up with the eventually-reformed villain but the nice hero got the nice heroine. So I can forgive the second series for going a little cliche this time.

And there can only be one Avatar at a time? That's the rule? Not that they can't write their way around anything like that. I just like to call these thing early and see if I'm right. I have a really good good track record with this kinda thing...especially with Doctor Who.

Well then that raises other questions. The mask implies one of two thing. Either he is someone we know, or he is disfigured in some way. All I know is we have barely seen him and this Amon is already the most interesting person on the show for me. Korra is all laid out there pretty much from the start, but this guy you don't know why he is doing what he is doing. Who he is. What his plans are and how they will affect everyone else.

There's a ton of theories floating around. One being that Amon is Aang's other son Bumi. Just because Bumi can't bend. I hope it's not though. That'd be kinda dumb honestly.

Doesn't Amon show his hands though? Tenzin's blue Air Nomad arrows are on his hands. So if Amon doesn't wear gloves and those are his hands, it's not Tenzin. No, wait, I looked and that part of his hands is covered. So then how does he change his voice from JK Simmons to Steve Blum?

Well I was watching this AGAIN (was hoping for a new episode tonight rather then tomorrow morning. I can never get up on Sat.) but it was the same old, same old. But, Tenzin was at Korra's press conference which Amon was listening to on the radio. Assuming it was live, which I'm sure it was..then that puts an end to that theory.
