Screw with a show's time slot....keep it out of the public eye for months on end...wonders why it fails. That does sounds like Nick.

I'm surprised that they aren't owned by Fox.

Context: Zaheer, one of Season 3's villains, is voiced by Henry fuckin' Rollins.

- Also, the group of villains have a camaraderie as opposed to other villain groups who tend to always have a villain and a butt-monkey.

- The group has two women and two men for an even gender balance unlike other groups where there always have to be more dudes.

- <a href="
>Zaheer is a fucking poet.[/url]

- The two women on the team are not conventionally attractive and wear fuckin' pants.  (Still washing Attack on Arkham out of my eyes.)  I want more animated villainesses that wear fuckin' pants.

- Zaheer and one of the women, P'li, have a relationship that isn't thrown in our faces every two seconds.  (They kissed, like, once so far and it was kinda made into a cute joke.)

- Zaheer's gf P'li is fucking taller than him with a badass haircut and is a firebending combustion woman.

- The other woman is disabled.  She has no fucking arms and makes her own out of water tentacles.

- I don't know how the fourth person in their group is managing to make lava when he's an earthbender but whatever.  Just thought I'd say something about him.

I fully expect this show to fuck these four over somehow (or neuter them like what happened with Amon) but I really enjoy seeing them on my screen.

Today's episode was freakin' good.  If they keep this up... well, I better not jinx them.  But if they keep this up, we can call this one the best season yet.  Oh hell, it already is even ifwhen they fuck up the ending.

Latest episode leaked and Jesus Christ.  Dat episode.  Could it be that after a season and a half of tripe, this show has finally found its footing?  Aside from the dull Airbender ep, the season's been spectacular and I love these fucking villains.  Still concerned they'll Amon these badguys somehow and ruin them, but so far it's been damn swell.

S4 eps already out.  I think I might wait and binge when a few more have come out.  Unless something that really interests me happens and I can't contain my curiosity.  But I gotta admit, the "3 years later" thing kinda lost me from the start.  Most of the time skip stuff I've seen doesn't handle that kinda thing well.  A year later... 10 years later... those types of jumps have some significance.  Everything in between, especially when kids are involved, means you were just trying to make the kids older.  Korra was in a bad state at the end of S3.  And it's like someone said, 'that healing shit's boring.  Get her ass outta the chair.'  Like, no.  Seeing her raw and healing in the final season would've been good shit.

This show got a S4? I thought with the way Nick was treating it was done like Thundercats.

After season 1 did decent numbers, Nick bought three subsequent seasons.  Outright.  So even though the ratings had been progressively in the tank--S2 especially was a fucking mess--the show practically finished production.  It was getting four seasons no matter what at that point.  The show's been an online exclusive now since a few eps into Season 3.  They aren't showing it on TV anymore.  I haven't started S4 yet.  I've been waiting for something exciting to happen to draw me back in like with Season 3 but we're already four episodes in and I'm not interested.  S3 was actually a good end for the show now that I think about it.  Depressing, but good.

Didn't know that. Bet Nick wishes they hadn't signed that deal.

Since Dish and Turner are fighting and they took away Cartoon Network (and truTV and my mother fucking Impractical Jokers. Assholes.) they gave us Nicktoons instead and I've got to watch some Avatar the Last Airbender. Lost as fuck since I haven't seen it from the start, but I've been able to watch it.

What episodes were they?  I'm just curious about where in the story you are.

Let's see....Ang was capture by the fire nation and was being put into a cell on their boat. He was going on about how he bet they never fought a airbender before and then he like beat up the two guys with air and escaped onto the deck of the ship. Not much to go on I know, but it is what I remember seeing.

At work we have some of the DVDs and I've been tempted to chell them out. Problem is I don't think we have anywhere close to the entire show.  :-\

So I started watching Avatar. We had book 1 vol 1. I had to order vol 2 from a library in Wy, but it is on the way.

Anyway the episode I saw on Nicktoons was episode 2.

Also Legend of Korra Book 4 is going to be on Nicktoons.

So I'm up to episode 12 and I am still confused on why earth benders can't really bend metal. Also don't know why Zuko's uncle could bend lighting...which is a different state of matter then fire is. Oh well...

Metal bending isn't a thing in the ATLA universe at that stage.

I read somewhere that Korra was coming back to TV.  I don't know who gives a shit anymore.  I still haven't seen any S4 eps yet.  I think I'll just consider S3 to be the end.  It was a fitting end.  If S4 appears on Netflix or somewhere convenient for me to watch it on, I'll chell it out then.

I was just mentioning it because they had a bunch of Earth Benders on a floating base and they mentioned they couldn't bend the metal. I was like "Why not...it is earth."

Anyway I finished book 1....waiting on book 2 to come in.

Apparently, Korra and Asami became lesbians at the end of the series.  Literally, the fucking end.  I view it being similar to how Rowling was all "P.S. Dumbledore's Gay."  As in I roll my eyes and think how we could've had a Korra/Asami relationship all along because that would've been so much better than two seasons of Mako shit.

And the creators made it canon.  Good thing we wasted so much time on Mako.  Hurrrrderp.

Somehow I missed Fifi's post.  This isn't the first time I've seen her or anything, but Janet Varney is kinda weird-looking... and weird-acting.  But in a totally cute way.  Which in itself is weird.  She's like a strange doll that creeps you out in the dark but you'd still play with it during the daylight.

Sassy!
Political Correctness is a doctrine, fostered by a delusional, illogical, liberal minority and rabidly promoted by an unscrupulous mainstream media, which holds forth the proposition that it is entirely possible to pick up a turd by the clean end.
