Star Trek Into Darkness.

Star Trek 2 was a love letter to Star Trek 2.

That's all I'll say on it now. I've saving up my real review for something special.

I was forced to sit through Snowwhite and the Huntsman.
I guess it wasn't that bad of a movie, but I totally wasn't feeling it and hated every minute of it.

Also it was total BS that the huntsman never got to have wild monkeysex with Snowwhite

I went to see Star Trek into Khan today. I described it to a cousin as being "quite enjoyable but annoying". It was fun in the same vein as the previous flick but so beholden to Wrath of Khan that it became a huge distraction. I would go so far as to say it was a total remake of TWOK, but since that was a damn good movie, at least they drew from a good source.

Speaking of TWOK, I just finished rewatching it a few minutes ago. It was the better movie, in my estimation, but I still enjoyed STiD.

I'm not expecting it to be good, but the trailer is so inspiring that it makes me want to believe, not that a man can fly, but that another good Superman movie has finally been made.

The trailer doesn't really have me all too excited. Lois looks dull. They should've vamped her up. I don't care for the costume either. And he's, like, hitchhiking. I dunno. I'm kinda on the line with this one. I may very well enjoy it, but I don't know what to make of it yet. It's gotta be better than Green Shitlern at least.

One of the reasons I so fondly remember Superman 3 is because of Annette O'Toole as Lana. It made up for Richard Pryor's ass being in it.

It's a DC movie that isn't Batman. One shouldn't expect it to be good. Then you won't be disappointed when it isn't.

Man of Steel will be good. Not as good as Dark Knight, but a lot better than that Dark Knight Rises feculence.

Superman 3 was the one set mostly in Smallville and involved the money virus aped in Office Space and the evil Superman. Superman 4 was a sheer abomination.

I saw a Woody Allen movie yesterday called "The Purple Rose of Cairo" which was pretty fantastic. To explain why it is fantastic might give spoilers so if you're interested don't look up anything about the movie just go watch it.

Lana was in three...there was some chick named Lacey in 4 that was the daughter of the guy that bought the Daily Planet. Apparently Lois was in 4 too, but I don't seem to be able to remember her in it.

I watched these three Masterpiece Mystery movies about two Navajo cops based on some book series. I liked it. Too bad they only made three. It was nice seeing Wes Studi actually play the stern but good-hearted hero as opposed to the freakish "savage" role he's best known for. Like evil Last of the Mohicans Indian. Or fierce Dances With Wolves Indian. Or fuckin' blue Space Indian from Avatar. Or... um... fuckin' Sagat.

I loved Helen Slater in Supergirl. I thought she was perfect for the role...a female Chris Reeve. And Peter O'Toole is always fun.

But it was an absolutely horrible movie.

Ha ha. I couldn't do that. I'd always wonder if we were related. Then again, my last name isn't the one I should have since my grandfather was taken in by another family when he was young. Then again, I think they were still relatives of his. So I actually have two paternal last names to be concerned about. I guess. Aside from my maternal family's last name. So... um, three. Then again, I think the same thing happened to my maternal grandfather. Then again again, I think those people were also his relatives. And they could've had the same last name. Or not. I'm lost.

Anyway, I finally saw Clerks II. I can see why that critic asshole reviewer walked out of it. I liked most of the characters, the basic premise, some of the jokes. Others fell flat and everything seemed lazily put together. And the donkey thing. Yech. That reeked of being put in for a dare or as director wank of some kind. Overall, the movie really needed someone to put their foot down and edit it better. And what was with Jason Lee? It was like someone sucked the life outta him or something. Shit.
