You had doubts?
I said its hot outside let me go swimming in your eyes;
We been running for awhile. Why don't you lay dow, I'll make you smile.
I could never ask for nothing better than this;
It's just tequila and the beach, it's quite salty when we kiss.

Today I watched Obsessed. Good movie , but you can see that it was obviously produced by Beyonce. I hate the "powerful woman" parts in it. too much, Beyonce tries to look like a badass.

That movie was all kinds of dumb.  Made even freakier by the fact that the man and the crazy chick had NO RELATIONSHIP WHATSOEVER.  Be careful who you get mixed CDs from, fellas.  It means she wants to RAEP J00!  And then no one believes the guy that the chick's crazy.  I don't know if it was just me, but I got the feeling the guy was supposed to have an affair or lead her on and Beyoncé said "I would never get cheated on!" and had it written out.  The dude comes off almost ridiculously squeaky clean and I was left thinking that there was no way in hell even a batshit insane psycho bitch would believe she had a remote chance with him.  You're right about Beyoncé, she was trying too hard (like J.Lo in Enough, now that's comedy).  Beyoncé should've played the crazy chick.  And dance and sung and shit.  You know that would have rocked.

Well they did say that people had doubts about him telling the truth since he had a past history of screwing around with his secretaries (Beyonce was his secretary before they got married, remember?).  But yeah at the end it got so batshit crazy that al I could think was "wtf?".

And yes Fiero, it sucked balls. It got to the point that I was thinking they looked pathetic (except my gurl Samantha of course). And i LOVE SATC but I'll just stick to the series and pretend the movies never existed.

Land of the Lost.

Eh...it just seemed like one Will Ferrel style joke after another strung together, or maybe more accurately contained, by the plot of the 1974 show. I was really surprised this thing was produced by Sid & Marty Krofft. Really wouldn't think the people that made the kids show, would like Cha-Ka humping Will Ferrel's leg, but whatever.

From what I understood, Beyoncé was the only secretary he messed around with.  I think it would've been different if there were in fact other secretaries or he was a notorious flirt or philanderer.  His marrying his secretary shouldn't immediately have branded the guy a liar.  I think the movie just made him too clean for it to be believable that no one gave him the benefit of the doubt, his own wife included.

I saw "Training Day" for the first time today.  Liked it, but Ethan Hawke is so douchey.  "I HAVE A LITTLE GURL!  BAAAAW!"  I still don't see how a white cop--a really clean-cut looking one at that--was supposed to successfully work in that narcotics division.  Dude stood out like a sore thumb.  The ending also borders on ridiculous.  Hawke flying in from the air to dive bomb Denzel's ride and then Denzel getting over-shot all to hell.  Oh, those lovable Ruskies.

Superman/Batman: Apocalypse - Quick thoughts.

  • Batman's pretty much a spectator.  He does about one plot-advancing thing and that's it.
  • Wonder Woman and Big Barda get some good scenes.
  • On that note, Big Barda could've been bigger.  :)
  • I wanted to at least see Lois.  Boo hoo.
  • Summer Glau goes back and forth from reading the phone book to being a competent actress.
  • Supergirl could've spent longer being bad.
  • I miss Michael Ironside.  This Darkseid kinda blows.
  • Short running time shows.  It felt rushed through.
  • The character design styles are weird.  I'm sure they look good in a comic, but the faces and bodies seemed pretty stiff animated.
  • I'm giving this 4/5.  About equal to Public Enemies.

Yeah, Andre Braugher voice isn't deep enough for Darkseid but he is a really good actor.

I guessing the character models were based on Michael Turner's art. He learned to draw figures by looking at super models. So, yeah I guess his designs translated to animation would look alittle stiff.

I thought the movie itself was just ok. This story doesn't deserve to be a movie. They might have been better off just making up a story if they just wanted to another Superman/ Batman movie.

Speaking of stories that deserve to be movie but the animation looks like shit...

It just sounded like a random dude with deep voice speaking into a mic: MY VOICE IS DEEP SO I DON'T HAVE TO ACT.  Maybe he is a good actor but he phoned this in.

I know why they did it but, yeah, it didn't translate right.  The female characters had beautiful faces.  Batman and Supes weren't doing it for me tho'.  Meh.  I thought it was funny that all of the women had basically the same proportions despite their varying heights.  Maybe proportion isn't the right term.  Man, WW and Barda look almost too long in the middle and their boobs were up real high.

I think the story had the chops to be a great movie.  The execution just felt a little off.

I thought he meant the AvP movies.

Saw Iron Man 2.  wtf  Over two-thirds of it was a truly awful movie.  Truly awful.

Here's the retarded exec chell list:
- show no woman on screen that doesn't serve as tits and ass for fanboy wank.  women who don't show titties are useless, people.
- Iron Man gettin' drunk and blowing shit up with no serious reprecussions because he's rich and fucking Iron Man and suffering actual consequences would be BORRRRING
- slicks beats, yo.  gotta sell a soundtrack here.
- exotic locales.  look at monaco, ain't it badass.  here's new mexico, see, nothing's here!
- hysterical female screaming
- Mickey Rourke
- racecar track fight because the only thing cooler than racecars is fucking up racecars for no good reason
- Mickey Rourke
- bad Russian accents because bad Russians are both evil and sound awful
- Audis yo
- lots of shiny shit that does nothing
- cameos of people no one cares about. this will hopefully distract from the huge lack of coherence.
- people repeatedly fawning and sucking their own dicks repeatedly over Iron Man
- Michael Bay-ish love affair with firearms
- Iron Man showing off his wealth in useless scenes that contribute nothing to the narrative
- Iron Man nursing hard-on
- wealth of back story no one seriously gives two shits about
- cornball obligatory "daddy hates me, no daddy loves me" thing
- evil douchebag with too much fucking screen time
- let's sell those Avengers movie tickets now people!
- Pepper Poops alternating between being strong and an utterly pathetic waste of air
- horrible Black Widow hair.  Sorry, had to go there.
- character pile up.  let's load this full of peoples!
- sad-looking Thor hammer because the movie will be terrible and Thor looks like a fucking hillbilly

For the record, even though I don't like drunk Iron Man, the movie should've started off with drunk puking Iron Man.  Instead they kept showing a couple of crazy-ass Russians.  I'm watching for Iron Man, bitches.

Black Widows fight scene was cool but getting dressed in the car?  rly?  Whatever.

RDJr. is a good actor, I could see him trying real hard with the material he had, but come on.  Wasted?  That's not exactly acting for that guy.

Cheadle's Rhodes felt lifeless until the end.

The last act of the movie really saved it imo.  The rest of it for the most part was ew.  It probably could've been much improved with more editting.  Over 2 hrs long?  This story?  No effin' way.

I disagree.  They should show it and have the students write papers about what was wrong with it.  For those who see nothing wrong with it, they can write an alternate paper about how it feels to be a retarded adult.

There are far greater offenders to show in film school to show what "Not" to do, then Iron Man 2. And I can say that without having seen Iron Man 2.

Sounds like you should go watch Iron Man 2.

Though to clarify, I wasn't saying Iron Man 2 should be shown to film students because it's so fucking horrible i.e. the worst offender.  I don't believe it is.  I'm saying it be shown to students because under the bad stuff was the bones of good flick and all of the crap ruined what should've been on par with the first Iron Man which--despite my issues with it particular to the treatment of women--was a very decent movie.

Transformers 1-3 maybe?

Wow, that's just cruel.

Edit: Sorry! Hit "Edit" instead of "Quote" by mistake. So I had to go back and fix what I fucked up.
