I've heard it was good but I have no plans to ever watch it.  Unless it comes out for free somewhere and I'm bored and without options.

I rewatched Coraline.  Meh, twice was enough for me.  I couldn't bring myself to care all that much.

Dinner for Schmucks- enjoyable.
Paprika- I don't know why it took me so long to see this. Had known Satoshi Kon worked on this and Paranoia Agent, I would have watched ages ago.

ehm no, the trailer was enough. Having Danny be like what, 10 years old, and not only that but change his name to DRE? fuck no. And I'm sure I've talked about how its bs that Jackie Chan teaches kung fu, etc, etc, etc

He just likes it because, well you know. Which is why we hate it.

But they started it by changing the races of both major characters.
I said its hot outside let me go swimming in your eyes;

I have no intention of watching, but it might not be as awful as we think.

MACHETE, however, I did intend to watch and it fucking delivers. It was exactly what I expected, making fun of extremes, pretty sweet knife fighting, chaingun on a motorcycle.

Watch for the palates cart when they raid the fort. Haha.

LOL WHUT?

I can't imagine any sequel/remake being better than the original. I lul at "arranged marriage". And Daddy wizard was planning on destroying mankind and having Precambrian nature take over the planet, is that plan off now that Ponyo has a future husband? Or is flooding half the dry land on the planet good enough? Is any of that water going to recede? What about people's possessions, now drowned? What about people's flooded houses? What about the rest of the world... is Tokyo and New York and LA and Mumbai and Amsterdam now underwater? Is the moon going to kamikaze the earth still? Answers dammit.

Kick ass- The title is my feelings on this movie. I was expecting a Disney teen comedy style where tweens and young teens try to fight evil and fail in humerus ways, or succeed by sheer luck. I should have known better by the R rating. What I didn't expect was a gothic loli running around with swords and a gun stabbing and capping people like it's human hunting season. More violent and way more awesome than I expected. Only thing was the villain seemed a bit cliche, and his son didn't seem the evil type... the spoiled type yes, but not the evil type. Which makes it more strange that it seems he becomes an evil villain at the end.

Ponyo - It was okay, but kinda rushed and meh at the end. And what's with
I like to go down to the playground and watch the kids run and jump and scream, because they don't know I'm only using blanks.

Modern anime is a stagnant cesspool of regurgitated ideas.

Well, see, this is a prime reason Nuri should give my post editing rights back. I totally fucked up that last post. And instead of being able to fix it, now you'll have to look at my horrible error for all eternity and suffer!!!   >:D

I'm working my way through the LotR trilogy extended editions and all the supplimentary material.  Fellowship and Towers are watched along with all the behind the scenes stuff for Fellowship.  Next comes the extras for Towers, then I move on to Return.  After that's done, I'll watch all three with each of the 4 commentary tracks.

It's a bit crazy how much material they crammed on these discs.

I have wanted to watch every commentary for every movie but that's 10-12 hours per commentary track, so about 36 hours of total commentary. I would kill myself of boredom before I got done.

Do you feel sad that George Clooney's movie got more money than Machete? Cause I sure do. I can't stand his suave ass for anything. Angry mexican all the way! Also I'll be waiting for a torrent since movies arrive in Japan like 2 years after they come out in the US.

D, is Ponyo. It's a kids movie. Let it go. Also I love that damn movie, Ponyo is SO CUTE. Last week I got a Ponyo doll <3

I was going to say Machete cost a lot less to make, but apparently I am wrong.

Balls of Fury. I don't know why I love this movie I do. Enter the Dragon with Ping Pong.

I also watch The Living Daylights. Dalton gets a bad rap for his time as Bond. He was one of the best.

I also re-watched Wild Wild West with Will Smith. I don't know why this movie gets shit on so much. I really like it.

Or I could, you know, just delete it.  I'm not going to tho'.  Just saying.

Clooney is awesome.  Too bad the last movie I saw with him in it was a steaming piece of crap.

I finally saw The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo.  Movie is the shit.  Nothing I would ever want to see over again anytime soon but I can't deny its brilliance.  I just don't see the remake matching this, though now that I've finally watched the original I can now relent that saddlebag-face Daniel Craig was correctly cast.

If you do watch it, just ignore every scene that involves Peter Parker dancing. You'll enjoy the movie a lot more.

Finally watched The Devil Wears Prada. I didn't like the movie that much, it was like meh. But Glenn Close...oh....and her character. AMAZING. If she's based on Anna Wintour I have a new found respect for her, cause if she's like that in real life she must be the SHIT. I want to be like that someday :'( I was a LIIITTLE bitchy when I was working but not that bad. It's an inspiration.

It was Meryl Streep.  Congratulations, you're already on your way there.

I saw the Batman: Mystery of the Batwoman thing.  I'd already seen parts of it years ago but never sat down and just watched the whole thing.  Not bad.

Just saw Midnight Run which happens to feature the worst Danny Elfman score possibly ever. "Midnight Run is one of Danny Elfman's most infamous scores as it ushered in a "sound" for buddy/cop/roadtrip comedy/action capers that would follow."-http://elfman.filmmusic.com

I've seen in this order:

Prince of Persia: This thing couldn't hold my attention. If something shiny came by I'd just watch that instead. I can't say anything bad about it, but I can't say anything good either.

Daybreakers: This was a lot better then I expected. I really expected shit and it wasn't. It wasn't a real good script, but it was shot very well. Had a real noir feel. Probably not something that someone who hates Vampire movies would like, but if you don't mind them it's pretty good.

Flash Gordon(1980): This is a bad movie, but it's done so tongue-in-cheek that I can't help but love it a little. But, but unless you like cheesy movies don't for any reason watch this movie.

Cop Out: Eh...it's not very good. Kevin Smith should always write the movies he directs. No matter how many "Cocks" "Mother Fuckers" and "Ass to Mouths" it doesn't make it a Smith film. Thing is full of bad writing and stereotypes and the like. Plot is all over the place too...I mean as far as I can tell this is about a Cop who is more concerns with getting a baseball card back then doing his job. And why does he want this baseball card? So he can sell it and pay for his spoiled daughters 50K wedding before his ex-wives' new rich Husband pays for it instead. IT STINKS!

Today I watched Obsessed. Good movie , but you can see that it was obviously produced by Beyonce. I hate the "powerful woman" parts in it. too much, Beyonce tries to look like a badass.

Last week I FINALLY watched Sex and the City 2( no comments) and 10 things I hate about you, which reminded me of how much I love Heath Ledger <3 :'(
