Saw 2012 on Demand. Where did all that water come from? Also, it felt like the Mayan stuff was forced in by the Studio.

The movie showed a polar flip, which is different the smaller shifts. The pole has actually moved a lot in the last hundred years. Course people think a sudden flip like they showed in the movie couldn't happen, that it would take thousands of years, but if it did it's possible the polar ice caps would melt and then refreeze someplace else. That could flood a lot of the areas shown in the movie like LA and Washington D.C. COULD, doesn't mean it would. Truth is no one really knows what would happen since it last happen before recorded history.

And maybe the Mayan stuff was forced, but the 2012 date comes from the Mayans. So if that was the title from the start, then that's what they were playing off of from the start. But a lot of thought doesn't usually go into the movies made by these guys.

Could so be Tsunamis from large underwater quakes. Lots of crazy shit some people say could happen if it actually did take place. Then others say nothing at all would happen other then compasses would be useless.

But Tsumamis wouldn't occur simultaneously all over with the volume reaching the tops of the himalayas, there's just not that much water.

I really enjoyed Inception, even with the problems. I do not equate it with the Matrix. They have some similar concepts but do not ring as the same sort of movie to me.

A polar flip as in the magnetic poles flipping, or the rotational axis shifting? Because if the earth suddenly started rotating along a different axis I could see the poles possibly melting, when they're facing more towards the sun. If it's just a magnetic flip I don't see how that would melt anything, since the poles would stay in the same place.

I saw the Runaways last night. It has thirty minutes of story in the entire thing. The rest of it is time wasting fluff. They have sex. They do drugs. They have arguments where they use the f-bomb like five year olds learning it for the first time. They unconvincingly write song lyrics like every other word is fucking brilliant. The film should've focused more on the other Runaways even if the movie itself is based on a book by Cherie Currie. Lita Ford and Sandy West may as well not have existed.

Right now, I'm watching the end of The Search for Spock.

I've never seen the second one completely from start to finish, despite several half-hearted attempts over the years to do so.

I've become more and more apathetic towards cinema in general, anyway. Like I said, if it doesn't have a superhero in it, I don't want to see it.

Hmm lets see. I sold National Treasure, The Entity ( I might regret selling this one later), ....omg I cant remember now. Anyways they weren't that many, we are taking most of them with us.
I did put Clueless in the "for free" bin after a couple of hours. Still, no takers haha.I was selling the dvds for liek 2 dollars anyways
