I got the second half of FMA:B on blu-ray this week. So now I can marathon the hell out of it.
I finished watching a show called Maji-koi! earlier this week. I'm glad it was only 13 episodes, because it was almost exclusively garbage. I mean, when it comes to anime, the trashier the better, but it's really hard to watch when you want almost every character in it to die as violently and viciously as possible. I'm not even going to bother synopsizing it.
Also watched one called Mayo Chiki. It's about a dude who's allergic to girls but winds up getting close to a rich chick's butler, who he found out happens to be a girl in disguise: hijinks ensue. It was a cute little show, mainly about how the guy gets used by the rich chick to make a friend for the butler, and find ways to keep people from finding out he's a girl. Not the most original stuff, but Girls Bravo is still among my favorite anime of all time, and it pretty much used the same formula.
Finished Hagure Yuusha no Estetica last week: some dude who goes to a fantasy world, becomes its hero by killing a demon king, and then comes home to Earth to a special school for former fantasy heroes. But he brings the demon king's vapid well-hootered daughter back with him, masquerading as his sister, to save her life (and relentlessly sexually harrass). And then they fight everybody with a few friends made along the way. This wasn't a bad show, but it spent way too much time meandering for direction when more could have been made of it. Then they left off on a cliffhanger that will likely never be resolved as I don't think it's getting a second season.
