Also, I can understand that they wanted to remain authentic to the original designs, but I think these characters look hideous in high definition. And the flat colors and lack of shading certainly don't help. Their enormous glassy eyes are truly sickening to behold.

Holy crap Dandivine is TRAAAAAAAAASH. My curiosity always gets the better of me whenever a new giant robot show turns up, but this is just abysmal.

Hey, boss. Have you watched most of the GitS stuff? I've been curious to check out what I'd skipped ever since the disappointment of Science Saru, but I really dislike the way Motoko looks in both Arise and SAC_2045. Are they worth a look?

In the end, I couldn't vibe with Goodbye Lara. I liked the witch a lot. The whole thing should've been about the witch.

Rayearth always bored me. I tried watching the old series years and years ago and I recall soldiering through most of it. But I found the story a slog so I have no reason to try the new one. I imagined they just Sailor Moon Crystal'd it and sucked all the soul out of the art.

The minute I see a main character that looks like the guy from Dandivine, I'm out. Also, giant robots are already a hard sell for me.

I actually was watching Arise at one point and Netflix turned into boiled shit and I had to stop. (I thought it was the Internet but it was Netflix.) I never picked it back up even though I meant to. You know, I'm gonna try to watch both of those.

I'm not watching too many things. I've been working 40 hrs+ a week (I usually don't) and I've been watching some people playing Fortune's Weave so it's probably good that this season is light.

Apothecary Diaries - It's there, I guess.

A Tale of the Secret Saint - It's okay. Actually better than I assumed it'd be. I'm going through the light novel for that currently.

Romelia War Chronicle - Slow but good. Slow will be the main complaint along with the lack of spoon-feeding. I see the latter as a huge plus but I also know people are getting lost with the story because of it.

Even Though I'm a Timid Noble Girl... - Isekai otome game girl slop. Passable to eat lunch to but I can't recommend this.

Hello, I Am A Witch... - This is nice. Witch has a huge crush on a dude asking for a love potion so tries to stall him out.

I'm also digging into my backlog and watching The Aquatope on White Sand.
