Is that you or your wet underwear talking? Seeing as that's the only reason you prefer Keanu, I'd say my rationale is better than yours. Keanu can't act his way out of a wet paper bag, and anyone who even marginally looks the part would be preferable to his deadpan ass.

I'm not sure Keanu is a good actor, but from what I've heard in real life he's actually a pretty nice guy. If anything I've heard said about him is true, I'd rather support him than half of Hollywood.

Who are these actors? I don't know Casey Mulligan or Joey King. I only know about Channing Tatum because of women who will not shut up about that stripper movie.

I understand not knowing Joey King because she's a child actor. She played Ramona in Ramona and Beezus and a whitewashed young Talia al Ghul. And typo alert: Casey should be Carey. As in mildly prominent Carey Mulligan who came out in An Education and Shame, films I wouldn't be surprised anyone has heard of let alone saw and which I barely remember the premises of myself. She also came out in Drive in which she stole a role meant for a Latina actress but it's okay because she's just soooo talentedkwelfregl! And apparently a relationship between a white guy and a Latina wasn't believeable to the director so it's double okay!

And you didn't see G.I.Joe? Not that that's a bad thing, but that's how I first heard of Tatum. And he came out in 21 Jump Stret and critics were wanking all over him.

I don't see how he's any more or less uninteresting that any other joe. And I say this as someone who's been watching the first two seasons of the 80's cartoon on Netflix. There were so many of them that the characterization is kinda shallow all around. Unless you mean in the comics which I haven't read.

I'd go along with that rationale, actually. After thinking about it more, while he may suck in most of the stuff I've seen him in he's a fan of the show and would probably insist on it being done right. But then there's what Rama said, so I'm not worried either way.

Anyway, this thread is derailed enough already. I just downloaded Asobi ni Iku yo! (I think the English version is called Cat Planet Cuties) based on an ANN recommendation. I've seen the first episode, but that's not enough to go on. It's trashy enough but it's supposed to be somewhat more than the standard harem show. We'll see. If it sucks then I'll Redline it out of my system afterwards.

SO I was watching this japanese show in which they invite gaijin (foreigners) and ask them questions about their countries. So the question of "what anime is a classic in your country" comes up and you have the italians mentioning Captain Tsubasa, the philippinos some mecha/robot anime, all of them were old and yes, classics. Turn for the american. He says NARUTO. I think my blood pressure went up for a bit. I hope I never see him out in the streets
