I have a mild case of ocd that I try to keep a secret from the public at large desu~. I only kiss those chosen few that I've selected desu~. If some chick some even sneaks a kiss on my cheek and her histroy is unknown or suspect I immediately detox with antibactieral soap. Faith is not placed in some thing, but some body. In this case, hate the player, not the game. Whose fault is it that a marriage fails? When you get down to it, it's church and state sanctioned shacking up. Have you lost faith in people just shacking up ("living together" being the more pleasant term)? Has anybody.

Not jumping on you or anything...I hear this from a lot of people, and I don't get the point of saying it.

I'm not getting married for religous reasons. I'm getting married because I've met the one person I know I want to spend the rest of my life with. That being said let the divorcers get divorced. That's just not for me.

And you can't have mild OCD. OCD is OCD. You can be compulsive about things, mildly or not. Almost everyone on Internet claims to have mild OCD and none of them are right.

People exhibit different symptoms (one person might have to wash their hands all the time, another might have to take 8 showers a day), I suppose what is mild and what isn't is subjective. I consider whatever it is i have to be mild, but I'm not sure if I have it because I refuse to let my doctor address the issue (he suspects I have it).

I consider my fear/hatred of germs to be completely rational.

A lot of marriages I've seen have come off as jokes. Not that I think they're all that way, but I truly think most people who get married don't know what they're getting into. Like from the religious aspect alone, how can one have such a strong beliefs, make a promise under God, and then be all "takebacks!" I remember my mom telling me my dad had said, long after their divorce, they would always be married by teh church. Yech, I nearly vomitted.

I am all for long periods of relationship before getting married. People who get married in two weeks have no idea how the other's farts smell.
