Hmm, might chell out Iron Sky if it's still on streaming.

That's how we watched it, but my room mate has been proxying a lot to Canada, so I'm not sure which library it was on. I think it was the US one.

I've seen it listed on the US one before; just don't know if it's still there.

Admission is a mediocre comedy starring Tina Fey and Paul Rudd who are both better in other things.

Why... are they calling that movie 47 Ronin?  Why not make a new property?  It's not like 47 Ronin is so damn popular over here it needs the draw of the name.  smh

It looked it.  I like those actors but had no desire to see this movie.

Hmm, I forgot if I mentioned The Raid - Redemption.
The title of this movie makes me think it's a sequel of some sorts although I think it's the only movie. It just annoys me when people throw on a subtitle. Then I think there was a movie before it.

In any case, The Raid is I think from Singapore. It's a pure action movie about a SWAT team ascending a building in a slum to capture a slum lord. I figured it would be a mindless action film but was surprised to find some actual plot and story in the movie as well as a few twists and revelations. My biggest beef was that there was a bit of a lull in the action in the middle. The first part of the movie was nothing but gun battles, the second half was nothing but martial arts. There was also some pretty good knife fights thrown in. Also, not expected in a foreign film, but a Wilhelm scream was in this one.

Pretty much a badass action movie, and worth watching.

There's a sequel in the works... and an American remake? I'm not exactly sure why it needs to be remade.
I like to go down to the playground and watch the kids run and jump and scream, because they don't know I'm only using blanks.

Modern anime is a stagnant cesspool of regurgitated ideas.

Yeah why would they remake that?  It's basically the plot of Dredd anyway.

I saw Justice League: The Flashpoint Paradox a couple of days or so ago.  I also rewatched the Wonder Woman animated movie.  FP was pretty decent (didn't care for Aquaman and Wondy banging each other and then going to war but whatever) but I remember liking the WW movie when I first saw it.  On a repeated viewing though, the WW movie's actually misogynistic and kinda atrocious.  I wish it had been more about WW and the Amazons--Hippolyta's conflict with Ares, Persephone betraying her people, Artemis and Alexa's differences, WW encountering man's world--and less about that pig Steve muthafuckin' Trevor getting his mack on.  What an ass-clown.  Ugh, he was cool in the Justice League series but here he was disgusting.  Ares was less gross than Steve Trevor and Ares was the fuckin' villain.  What the hell?  It's like some constantly-rejected angry guy was all "here's your Wonder Woman movie, you fuckin' feminists, now stfu" and shat out this movie.  And I actually bought the WW movie at Target for 5 bucks and was charged 7.99.  Boo.  Worst $8 spent ever.

Why would you not care for them banging and going to war?  You have a better plot device? No you don't.

Didn't know Flashpoint was out yet. Thanks for the heads up.
Political Correctness is a doctrine, fostered by a delusional, illogical, liberal minority and rabidly promoted by an unscrupulous mainstream media, which holds forth the proposition that it is entirely possible to pick up a turd by the clean end.

I'll see Flashpoint as soon as my buddy buys it and then lets me borrow it. He sees/buys every superhero movie no matter how shitty it might be. Gives me the chance to only buy the ones I like.

Because nothing can be criticized unless the critic has a better solution.  Gimme a break, swampie.  Besides, there's a million cooler, less petty reasons for two supers to go to war.

Besides, Wondy should always be banging Superman...though I did like the JLU dynamic of Diana and Bruce.

It must really suck for Superman that the only chick he can have sex with without killing is either his relative or Wonder Woman. Actually...that doesn't suck. I'd have sex with Wonder Woman.

Course he still has it better then Hulk who the only female Hulk out there is his cousin. (Although I think there are a lot more Hulks now...got kinda crazy there.)

The reason they went to war flowed naturally.  A botched marriage of alliance was nothing to be nonplussed over. Does heterosexual sex piss you off or something?

I always thought he should have taken up with Maxima when she turned into a marginally "good guy". Angry tsundere redhead? Sign me up!

I guess there was always Power Girl, as they're not actually related. And who wouldn't hit that?

Oh, oh yeah, I saw Snow White and Huntsman.  LOL  K-Stew can only make that one disgusted face.  Someone stop giving this chick work.  And the little people with regular-heighted people's faces digitally pasted on... er-mah-god... AWKWARD.  Stupid Thor sounded like he was talking with mashed potatoes in his mouth.  Mirror Mirror was the waaay better Snow White movie.  Too bad it didn't do as much business as this crappy, snory one did.

Maybe when she stop sucking the directors' dicks.

Watched Wrecked it Ralph and it was SO BORING. It became even worse after I found out Sarah Silverman (who i cant stand for shit) was the voice actress for that little pain in the arse brat
