Muppets was so fucking horrible.  I didn't even see the part with Selena Gomez in it.  Wish I'd caught that as the part of that piece of shit train wreck I was exposed to.

I just watched Twister. I love this movie. I actually went to see it to the theater with my dad when it first came out

Ha, I was just thinking about that movie today.

Why was it horrible for you?  I'm interested in knowing.

There were no jokes aside from it being Muppets.  The trailer was the same.  Here's a very standard story and *record scratch* MUPPETS!!!  So?  Who the fuck cares.  They're Muppets.  The Muppets need to do something funny to be funny.  The mere presence of  Muppets does not make anything good.  And the singing.  Ugh.  Horrible singing.  This movie just did nothing to engage me on any level.  I do not love Muppets so there's nothing here for me.

I see your point.  Muppets are the only thing to enjoy about it and if you don't enjoy Muppets... well that's that.  Did you even like The Muppet Movie?  Have you seen it?  Did you watch Sesame Street as kid or just shake your fist at the screen?  I'm assuming Sesame Street got ported to Canada somehow because it seems obvious to me...

So I saw Scream 4. gory as fuck, like they really surpassed the other 3 movies. It might have been a mistake to watch it with my daughter....

Also, Austin powers Goldmember. Its hilarious.  I love everytime they surprise you with some celebrity. The only thing I hated was Beyonce and her character

Police Academy 2-4.

I use to love these movies as a kid, but now I am mostly underwhelmed by these flicks.

So Hunger Games appeared on Netflix streaming and I decided (despite my issues with it) "why the fuck not" and watched it.  Thoughts:

1.  It's too damn long.
2.  Jennifer Lawrence has one facial expression: chubby-cheeked, semi-gaping duck-pout.
3.  I don't see why Jennifer Lawrence is hot shit.  If this movie is anything to go by, she kinda stinks.  This movie would've been better with an actress that fit the part.
4.  Several supporting characters did a great job with what they had.  These include clown lady, weird-beard, tv-host pony-tail dude, fellow tribute/love interest guy, Thor's brother, little dead girl, Lenny Kravitz, Donald Sutherland.  Donald Sutherland also clearly phoned this in, but he's so good at the type of role he was given that he could've done it in his sleep.  Woody Harrelson (however you spell it) felt kinda purposeless in this movie.  He also had a cheesy fake wig.  Almost everyone else kinda sucked.  Katniss, her sister, her mother: no fucks given.
5.  The game itself felt rushed and edited.  Kids die, no impact felt, who the fuck cares.  Meh.
6.  The movie felt incomplete.  Yeah, there's gonna be three sequels but each movie should serve to function on its own as well like LOTR.  We were given a frayed narrative.  Seemed more like those "movies" that are actually strung-together episodes of a tv series.

tl;dr - Not horrible but average.  Jennifer Lawrence gets a giant MEH.

Im surprised, I thought she was supposed to be a good actress? (not watching that movie anytime soon tho)
I think a lot of people like her for her personality. Did you see that video of her and Jack Nicholson? I thought it was cute (him more than her)

Probably as a child but I was an idiot.  I recall liking Sesame Street but I never recall having a fondness for anything but the Muppet Babies as Muppets go.

We got your Sesame Street when I was younger.  As I got a bit older and my sister was watching it they brought in some unique Canadian characters and replaced the Spanish with French.

Jennifer Lawrence is hot
This.

G.I. Jones: Resuscitation! Better than the first. Definitely less cheesy. Still cheesy, mind you. The advertising used Bruce Willis to draw viewers, but he honestly wasn't in it that much. If you've seen the trailer, you'll already be familiar with most of his dialogue. Dwayne Johnson really Dwayne Johnsoned it up, I'd consider him the main protagonist, and he did a pretty standard job. And at the risk of sounding like a pig, that Adrianne Palicki lady looks holy cripes amazing throughout the entire movie. Every scene she was in I was just @_@...

I give it

out of 5.

HG was the first time I've seen her in anything.  Maybe she's better with other material but I felt the Katniss character was actually pretty bland.  And no, didn't see that vid.

Jennifer Lawrence was young Mystique in the X-Men first class movie. She was good in it, and much hotter.
Political Correctness is a doctrine, fostered by a delusional, illogical, liberal minority and rabidly promoted by an unscrupulous mainstream media, which holds forth the proposition that it is entirely possible to pick up a turd by the clean end.
