This is obviously a facetious attempt at trolling. Rodimus Toe absolutely adores The Expendables, and he's been to see the sequel three times already.

I read all about it on his blog, Toeing the Line.

I went to The Expendables 2 on Sunday. Money well spent.
Amen. I went last Saturday. It was what is was. And that was much fun.
I hope you guys are joking. I can't sit through more than 10 minutes of the first movie.
You got to Dolph exploding the terrorist and couldn't watch anymore? Your loss. The best movie up yours in recent memory occurred not thirty minutes later when they nuked the bridge.

I saw The Three Stooges, and now my head hurts. What is most disappointing is that the three actors they had play the stooges just really got into their roles and I totally believed them as the stooges. The problem was a just abysmal script...it was just sooooo bad. I mean anytime you have Moe end up in the company of the cast of Jersey Shore then you know you've made a wrong turn some place. And how can you have the stooges go to a hospital and not have the line "Dr. Howard, Dr. Fine, Dr. Howard" uttered. I mean really. I liked this movie when it was the stooges being the stooges. Like when they are trying to fix the bell at the orphanage. That was great...but most of this film is just shit, and really smelly shit at that. This could have been good if you set in the 30s and just spliced some of the stooges best shorts together into some kind of story. I would have loved it...but this was just painful. Then then had to end the movie on a disclaimer showing all the kids that the stuff the stooges do is fake...you know in case the one person in the theater tried to do it and hurt themselves.

I also saw John Carter. A lot of people told me this movie was actually good and didn't deserve to bomb...well it wasn't really good. And I saw this right after I watched the Stooges. I'd hate to see how this movie would fair if I watched it after a good movie. That being said, it was the total crap fest that Stooges where...but it didn't really blow me away as a good movie either...or as a mindless action flick.

Glad I waited on Redbox for the both of these.

Holy shit.

BUt you know, it could have been worse. Fuckin' Will Smith could have played one of the stooges, with his two wonder-brats playing the other two

Because it was originally made in a kettle.

LOL

Rama's Stooges review reminds me of Julie & Julia.  Meryl Streep as Julia was beyond superb and it should've been a Julia Child movie instead of involving all that other Julie shit no one gave a crap about.

I could have told you not to bother with that. Did you watch Spy Troops too?

I saw Live and Let Die, The Man with the Golden Gun, and The Spy Who Loved Me...as I keep marching on to see all the Bond films before Skyfall in Nov.

Live and Let Die was the best of the Moore Bond movies, though MwtGG and SWLM were fun. Spy was a sentimental favorite, as that was the only one I'd ever seen for a long, long time, as I'd caught it on ABC on video one night and rewatched it several dozen times.

I can agree that Live and Let Die was the best of the Moore movies.

I'm on to Moonraker which is my least favorite Bond film...still holding it's title over Quantum of Solace.

I've never seen more than the first half hour of any Bond movie. The entire franchise bores me to tears.

The title song of 'The world is not enough' by Garbage is great tho

I bought the dvd of Grave of the Fireflies cause I've heard is super sad and depressing. But now I don't want to watch it cause of the same reasons lol but I'll get to it

Premium Rush. Easily my favorite bike courier movie. I was going to say top five, but no, it's definitely number one.

I streamed Haywire.  Great movie.

I also streamed most of Mission Impossible 3.  Which I did like decently enough the first time I saw it.  But it made me realize how damn good Haywire was and joys of watching an action picture without all of that flash, CG, and all of those shiny people.

Haywire was great. I was surprised to actually feel bad when you-know-who ate it, because at the beginning of the movie it was like, "Oh my God, he's beating the shit out of her!"

But then of course she beat him even worse, so it was all good.

The best way to describe it is thus: the story starts with a nuclear explosion, and it's all downhill from there.

I saw Octopussy. Not that bad actually...one of the better Moore films, but man is he looking old here. I'm really surprised he did any after Moonraker. Even more surprised he did another one after this.

I also saw Bill and Ted's Excellent Adventure just to have a break from Bond.

I've read the synopsis so I know how it starts and ends...but I still can't get myself to watch it :'( I was almost crying when reading the damn synopsis, I can't imagine how it will be when I watch the actual movie

It's easily the saddest movie I've ever seen. But it's been years since I saw it...I don't remember that much about it other than how it felt. Don't think I'll put myself through it again anytime soon, though.

Honestly I enjoyed all the Moore Bond movies except View to a Kill. I prefer Connery as Bond, though.
