Watched Super 8. Cute movie, its kind of like the Goonies. Loved the little David Spade look-alike weirdo. He was so cute! It was pretty funny. Also Elle Fanning is stunning for being only like what, 13? im jelly

I'd really like to know what M. Night was thinking when he cast those kids. In his past movies he's done a pretty good job with selecting his cast. Then again he was probably just there to get a pay chell and didn't care who the studio put in the movie.

I still say the rich girl who played Katara had her daddy get her casted.

That's something you could learn from a Snapple lid.

"Did you know they still sell Snapple?"

I know we both live in the same state and surely that means you are presented with the Snapple ads that are presented to me. I hear or see one at least once a day, and I don't even watch TV.

Killer Elite: Typical Statham. Plenty of action, but dumb as hell. A little slow in spots, and about twenty minutes too long. Old Man De Niro got to kick some serious ass, which was awesome and hilarious.

Drive: Watch it. However you can, watch it.

Attack the Block- wanna be street thug kids save the world from an alien invasion.  Think, Evil Dead 2 mixed with some Ghost Busters a little Boyz In The Hood and two scoops of Alien sprinkled with Shaun of the Dead.

Freaks (1932)

Transformers: Dark of the Moon.

Freaks is vastly over rated. I always heard it was this amazing horror film and was banned in so many places, but really it is just a lot of backstage crap at a traveling circus. The only thing that is the least bit unsettling is that they use actual Freak show preformers in the movie. I'm sure in 1932 when these people where locked away from the public mostly, this was shocking. But in a world with discovery channel, it really loses a lot of shock value. Then it turns into just a day at the circus with a little bit of gold digger storyline about a pretty tightrope walker, marrying one of the circus's midgets for his money while having an affair with the strong man, thrown in. Course you have to wonder why a guy who is rich, would still degrade himself by being in a Freak Show. But whatever. It was pretty meh, for the rep it has.

Transformers: Dark of the Moon made my brain hurt. I actually forgot I rented it. I got it out of the redbox on a whim, then started watching TV and forgot all about it. Goes to show how much of impact the idea of watching the movie had. I think  was curious how bad it was gonna be. I wasn't let down of course.

The first hour is just.....ugh...I don't even know if I can put it into words. It was more like a pantomime of real life. The last hour was just a big Micheal Bay whack off fest. Lots of explosion, lots of slow mo of Military guys walking, lots of slow shots of things flying places. Ugh...I feel I lost about 1/3 my brain cells just watching this thing. And to top it off I got to see one of the guys that taught me right from wrong when I was kid, double tap a unarmed and beaten man who was begging for mercy. Thank God this is the last Transformer movie....please say this is the last Transformers movie.

DOTM wasn't that bad compared to part 2 and the part where the decepticons sacked the city was pretty cool.

All of the human parts sucked.

That statement seems pretty arbitrary. I could just as easily say, "ROTF wasn't that bad compared to part 3 and the part where optimus ripped off the fallen's face was pretty cool."

They're both awful movies, each with a smattering of entertaining moments. But overall, garbage. Saying this garbage isn't as garbagey as that garbage is meaningless.

I'll agree that humans are the absolute worst part of anything pertaining to Transformers. Always and forever.

I saw "Better Luck Tomorrow" about some Asian-American students that decide to do some stupid shit.  I kinda like parts of this film and the main character was an interesting guy.  Once it began expanding on the other characters, it got dull imo.

What? Saying something is less garbage than some other garbage does have meaning! It's how we rate different ranks of garbage! What are you gonna do? Just lump all the garbage into one big garbage heap?!

No man! You gotta sift through that garbage! Smell it! Pick the cr0n kernels out of the shit and revel in them!

Seeing as the vast majority of modern media is composed of varying degrees of expendable rot, ranking it makes plenty of sense for no other reason than to point out the stinkiest and stay away from it.

That said, DOTM was a crummy movie, but compared to ROTF it was Ben-Hur...which I plan to see this Saturday if not before. I love that movie, and I've had the Blu-Ray for a week and haven't had a chance yet....
Political Correctness is a doctrine, fostered by a delusional, illogical, liberal minority and rabidly promoted by an unscrupulous mainstream media, which holds forth the proposition that it is entirely possible to pick up a turd by the clean end.

I couldn't say which was worse...ROTF or DOTM. I know I zoned out completely in ROTF. I couldn't even tell you what was happening. It is like my brain couldn't take it and retreated into it's self. I guess that means it is worse then DOTM, but I couldn't tell you how. I didn't like the first TF movie, but shit...it is gold compared to these other two.

Hyperbole. If DOTM is Ben-Hur compared to ROTF, then what is Ben-Hur compared to ROTF?

The correct answer is Pee-wee's Big Adventure.

All I'm saying is, compared to Pee-wee's Big Adventure, Ben-Hur is Kramer vs. Kramer.

Fast Five.  Wow this movie... was like an 80s cartoon or something.  The Rock's character was like a parody of itself.

Cop: Do you want the good news or the bad news first?
The Rock: You know I like to eat my dessert first.
Cop: Bla bla good news.
The Rock: All right, now give me the veggies.

At one point he slaps are moving car as if to ask it to move faster.

It's part of what made the movie entertaining.
