Oh and Mel and I finally saw the Guardians of Gahooleyo3igrbn with the owls and shit.  There was too much slo-mo fighting, which I assume is the director's trademark.  Also, it bothered me how the evil owl brother was more of less just written off by his family.  Everybody's all happy at the end and not one fuck was given that day.  It was kinda sad.

I always forget that Owls of Ga'Julio'Iglesias is a Zack Snyder joint. So weird. I mostly liked it though.

Also, Legend of the Guardians has got to be one of the most generic titles of all time. It's like if Wall Street had been called Executives of the Boardroom. Or Lord of the Rings could have been Journey of the Travelers.

The Fast and the Furious would be known as Dudes Drive Cars, Yo. Subsequent iterations would replace the Yo with Bro, Dawg, Pimp, Playa, etc.

Every Clint Eastwood movie ever would be renamed Grizzled Loner Becomes Irritated.

Mean Girls was the best anything Tina Fey ever wrote. Wish she had stuck with movies instead tv.

I saw Fearless with Jet Li.

I'm iffy on if I'll see Thor.  Ironman 2 was so much disappoint, I'm not sure I trust Marvel movies as of late.  The previews didn't really impress me either.

You know what I'm not trusting the look of from the previews? Green Lantern. I think that's gonna be a rent.

Donnie Darko. Never seen it before and was less then impressed with it as a whole, but the pay off made it worth it in the end.

Thor is superior to both Iron Man movies, IMHO.

Don't watch the director's commentary.

Horrible?

Really? It wasn't that bad.  Wasn't any worse than teen titans anyway.

Adventures of Robin Hood on Blu-ray. I was a bit disappointed...the DVD had less grain and seemed more vivid to me. But it's still one of the greatest movies of all time.
Political Correctness is a doctrine, fostered by a delusional, illogical, liberal minority and rabidly promoted by an unscrupulous mainstream media, which holds forth the proposition that it is entirely possible to pick up a turd by the clean end.

Priest. Not bad, but it deviated so much from the manwha I don't know why they licensed the source material in the first place.

The Proposition. A cowboy flick set in Australia. Entertaining, but bleak as hell.
The Centurion. Pretty generic warrior movie.
Winter's Bone. Not at all what I expected, but still interesting.

Drive Angry. What a fucking piece of shit. Good Lord, Nick Cage is the Modern Master of Schlock.
