You need to go fucking watch that right fucking now.

It was goddamn great feel goodery with zombie killings. Excellent.

There is a love story, but its like hardly even there. Focus is on surviving zombiecalypse.

I'm still up in the air on whether or not I feel like seeing that.
If you go don't drink anything for like a day in advance. The whole thing lasts like 4 hours. I'm still thinking about what time I should go, I don't wanna be surrounded by noisy kids, I'd slap them all

I had planned on seeing Zombieland this weekend, but ended up going to get the computer instead. Hope to still get to it before they take it out of theaters. Wish we had a dollar theater here, but nope. In fact we are down to two Theaters now. They turned the other two into a boat dealership and a mattress place.

I distinctly remember the commercials saying you get a bathroom break, so I'm assuming there's intermission between the films.

Yes you do, a 5 minute one. But EVERYBODY goes to the bathroom during that time.
Anyways I went, I watched it and I LOVED IT. I was laughing harder than the kids there :'(

Strange Invaders. Been looking for this movie since I saw it around Halloween time last year. Stumbled on it in the 5 buck bin yesterday.

I watched Sex Drive last night, a lot funnier than expected.   I also saw Zombieland over the weekend, which has the best celebrity cameo ever.

Did I mention I saw Zombieland? I'm not scrolling up, fuck it.

That movie was damned excellent and the cameo is so fucking great.

And its got two pretty hot chicks in it (don't judge me).

I really want to see Zombieland but I'm broke and my download speed is being wack.

Last movie I saw was G-Force. Actually a very good movie, Nice cast and I enjoyed the evil appliance battles.

I actually want to watch that.

But not when there's kids in the theatre.

Fuck that.

Panic in Year Zero.

Actually got this one because I thought it would be a bad B-movie and I could write a review for my semi-dead blog. However, it turned out to be a pretty good movie. I bet it would have been very unsettling in 1962 when it was released.

Watched Totoro for the 940594092th time and then was starting to watch Ponyo but I was worried I would fall asleep in the middle of it, so we switched to District 9

Bought Crank 2 and Watchmen on Blu-Ray.

Re-watched Crank 2 tonight as I hadn't seen it since the theatrical release.  So odd how Carradine's death in the movie was a parallel of his death in real life.  I'll probably watch Watchmen over the weekend with the gf.

Oh, also saw Snow White for the first time in years over at a friend's house yesterday.  Adriana Caselotti should go down in history for having the most fucking annoying voice ever.  :nono:

I always found Snow White really dull.  I understand why it's an important film, but doesn't hold up so swell in my opinion.

I saw The Thomas Crown Affair, the remake with Pierce Brosnan and Rene Russo.  The film really started off as a winner with an interesting heist and good characters.  Then you can actually see when some fucking moron begins a hackjob on the latter part of the film.  The sexy, confident Rene Russo character suddenly becomes a needy, sobbing, moody tampon and Brosnan completely loses his footing as a delightly arrogant gentleman thief, doing a dozen flip-flops to being a confused man, a bumbling idiot, a fucking magician, and a plain old prick.  The Denis Leary character also suffered, becoming less sympathic and more, well, pathetic.  When the end came and Brosnan and Russo are making out on the plane, I groaned in complete disgust.  It went from 4 stars to like 1.  Really sad.  I was unfamiliar with the prior film even though I knew this one was a remake.  Turns out, they're NOT supposed to stay together... just like it was set-up to be throughout the entire damn film.  Boo.  This could've been an excellent updated take on the story.  Now it goes down with The Vanishing in the pit of shitty remake "happy" endings.  (Although I don't think TTCA can outdo the original director of Spoorloos/The Vanishing fucking up his own film since he also directed the remake!)

Watched Kung Fu Hustle the other night. LOVE that movie. Last one in theaters was Transformers 2. Retrospect it was still an awesome action movie. POOR on story though. Still buying it Oct. 20th.

I don't want it to be easy, I want it to be right.

I watched Whip It. Decent but formulaic. Mainly went because I'm happy to support Ali Shockwat. I kind of have a hard on for her.

I watched Towelhead, but it got predictable way too quickly. I should've wanted to fap to it, but I couldn't. For an artsy film that won awards, it got boring and stereotypical. Maybe next time, the girl doesn't tell on the adult neighbor she's fucking.

The Abyss.  It started out decently and spiraled into WTFsavedbyEdHarrisZOMGhugtree mode at the end.  Gah.  I also saw Near Dark and The Great Muppet Caper and was really bored.  I bought the Muppet Movie since I had a $10 off thingy at BestBuy and that one was as great as I remember it.

I still haven't seen any new movies (or old movies) in quite a while.  I am, however, watching Firefly.  Ğe geeks are right.  Ğis is a great show.  I wish I had heard about it when it was still on ğe air.  I don't have a ratings box or anyşing, but I'd like to şink I could have helped it stay on the air.

So how was Crank 2?  I really enjoyed the first one.

Word of mouth is always powerful. I told people, but back then I was always forgetful about actually watching shows. I was to worried about having a social life. Not so much anymore.
