The first time I ever saw Perlman was with Linda Hamilton on TV's Beauty and the Beast. But after T2 I wasn't sure who's who, but anyway. You need a burly ugly dude to play the role of a burly ugly dude, he's your man.

But sadly (or not), he's got legit acting chops. I wish he was given more roles that let him expand on that. At least even an animated series where he's in a starring role. I think Hellboy and Clay (in Sons of Anarchy) are probably the only roles in the last ten years or so that have allowed him to have any sort of depth. Otherwise, he's just some throwaway character. Don't make Perlman the throwaway character, Hollywood. That's what the Hemsworth brothers are for.

Last one I watched in the theatres was "Shut In". It was ok. Ive noticed Naomi (is that her name?) has been showing her boobs more freely in her latest movies. Its like the older she gets the more she wants to show them off.

I have to say he was pretty funny on those short videos he made with Kevin Hart for their movie. You know the ones where they are on set and start screaming to each other.

No! God, no. MiB3 is trash. I place it above 2, but that was a complete disaster.

I've probably mentioned this before, but I really liked the MiB cartoon. It built off the movies, but it really did stand on its own. I've heard people say it's more like the comics, but I've never read those so I can't comment.

Men in Black. It was great, until it wasn't.

Oh, I'll bet the CG has aged horrendously. I suppose you can say that about most CG, including Jurassic Park! A lot of people like to claim Jurassic Park's CG is timeless, but to that I say BULLSHIT.

Yeah, the cartoon was neato. I also heard that comparison to the comics but I've never read them either.

I used to tolerate him just fine but I can't figure out when that tolerance ended. Watching stuff with Will Smith in it now is like when I started rewatching films with Robin Williams in them. It's this painful experience where you see this desperate man grasping for a positive reaction wherever he can find one and I just pity him instead of enjoying myself. I think I watched MiB3. Didn't they go back in time or something? That's about all I can remember of it. The only reason I remember more about that than 2 is because it's newer. The first movie was fun, and the cartoon was good...never read the comic.

Good CGI is always just five-to-ten years away from being bad CGI. And nowhere is that difference more profound than when watching old movies in HD or UHD. It's worse than bad compositing used to be.

On the flip side tho', it's even more jarring to me when I'm watching an old movie and they've "fixed" things with CG. So now you have an old-ass movie with shiny graphics. And even MORE jarring when you watch five years after that: the movie is dated and the graphics are dated but from different time periods. And I don't know if it's just me, but the older CG and special effects stuff has a charm to it that can't be duplicated with modern era (2000-onward) CG.

Speaking of bad CG, you should see what they did in Rogue One. Holy fuck. I can hardly believe it. It's a real "What were they thinking?" kind of deal. Fuck, man. Just wait until you see it. Hilarious and embarrassing.

And I didn't care for the movie at all, just in general. When it wasn't boring me, it was pissing me off. Fuck Rogue One.

You know what was a good movie? Nocturnal Animals. Disturbing, but good.

He looked like shit. Like, I can't even describe to you how ridiculous it was. And not only that! Peter Cushing was 5'10". David Prowse was 6'4". In St*r WarzzZZ, Darth Vader dwarfs Tarkin, anyone can see that.

In Rogue One, Tarkin stands a head above every character he interacts with! Like, what in the fuck even? How did they not notice this and correct it?

Compared to all the other trash that goes on in the movie though, that's just a minor nitpick.

But then as an added gut punch the movie ends with CG young Carrie Fisher LIKE ARE YOU FUCKING KIDDING ME IT'S SO AWFUL.

I hate this garbage. I hate that it will make obscene amounts of money. I hate that people will begin referring to it as the "best" St*r WarzzZZ movie, and their "favorite" St*r WarzzZZ movie.

Yeah, a friend of mine went to see it today and pronounced thereafter it the third best after Empire and New Hope. So anyway. I still have no desire to see it unless a passle of my folks want to go en masse and I go along out of sheer loneliness.

Not to add to your list... well, actually, it DOES add to your list, but someone pointed out that in Vader's slaughter scene or whatever, he's very nimble. He's not bouncing off walls or nothing but he moves like a young dude instead of the slow-ass, crusty albino-looking fucker we met in ANH.

I was wondering something maybe you could answer since you've seen this film.. would the movie have been helped by fewer rebels involved? As in, do you think it would have benefited to cut characters and streamline the story? It seemed like--at face value--the movie may have worked better with just two human rebel characters and the droid. From what I heard, the droid and Felicity Jones's tight ass were the only real stars here.

Every time the robot started to win me over, he would do or say some hackneyed bullshit that had all the Rhodes Scholars in the crowd hootin' and hollerin' to the rafters. Fuck right off. They telegraphed every gag from a mile out, how could anyone possibly find that shit funny?

As for the Vader thing? Haha! Yeah, it must have been his last hurrah. After that brutal onslaught, he was winded for the rest of his life.

Also, James Earl Jones is 85, and you can hear every year in his delivery. I mean, sure, it's authentic Vader, but...

Would it have helped if the group was already a cohesive team of old friends and jumped right into the mission of stealing the plans? Because it also seemed like the movie was presenting an origin story (the formation of this rebel group) + their mission. But they didn't have the space. No pun intended. Ho ho.

No, the way they came together was stupid. It was just all of a sudden they decided to rally behind her. Why? Who the fuck was she? Nobody! There's a scene towards the end where she makes this "rousing" speech during a meeting, and it's like why is anyone even suffering you to talk? But nope, a bunch of randoes decide she'll be their Joan of Arc stand-in, and charge off to their inevitable doom.

And don't even get me started on the part where "May the Force be with you" plays over the intercom while the pilots are manning their ships. Like get the fuck out with that!

Did you read about the part where they bumped into the ugly guy and the guy with balls for a mouth in the crowded street scene? You know the guys from the original, Obi-Wan cuts one of their arms off? Fucking why?! Why would they put them in this?!

"Membuh dose guys from Mos Eisley? You membuh?"
