The Cranks are a great pair of films, and they made me fall in(celebrity) love with Efren Ramirez.
Both movies look like everyone involved just had a blast making them.
I want a duelpack blueray release really bad!

The Transporter films are okay at best, and the 3rd, by goth avoid like the plague!

I liked the first Transporter, but the next two were just more of the same x2.  Crank has the minor net notoriety of being a movie aDam Gardner said was offensive.

Statham is English Bruce Willis + Kung Fu.
Political Correctness is a doctrine, fostered by a delusional, illogical, liberal minority and rabidly promoted by an unscrupulous mainstream media, which holds forth the proposition that it is entirely possible to pick up a turd by the clean end.

Speaking of Statham I just saw "In the name of the King: A Dungeon Siege Tale." It sucked.

*Shudder* Yes. I think his goal in life is to be the modern day Ed Wood.

So all his movies will suck but in 40 or so years a Tim Burton will come along and make a movie about him that is actually quite enjoyable?
I really need to get Ed Wood on DVD, since I no longer have my VCR hooked up.

I've never even heard of that movie.  But then again, I pretty much lost track of Bruce Campbell's career after Bubba Ho-tep.

I never saw it.  I was like "Oh, Bruce is in this movie.  It looks funny" and then I forgot about it.  Or perhaps I just lost all interest.  One of the two.  Why didn't you like it?  Was it just plain crap or was there another reason?

Yeah I need to watch some burn notice.

As far as Bubba goes I don't remember why I didn't like it.  I want to say it was kinda slow, but then it took place in a rest home so what do you expect.  I think I just didn't care for the plot which I believe had something to do with Elvis fighting a mummy.  And while I appreciate the image that evokes it just didn't deliver.

Transformers 4 in the dollar theater.

I'm not sure why people are complaining about it being shit, as I didn't find it to be that bad. Not as good as the first two movies, but compared to the third movie, this one was better.

My biggest complaint was I was hoping for more man vs robot battles, which up until the end were lacking some.
Also, I may be wrong on this, but the movie seemed to waver from canon a couple times.  I mean, John Conner's father was what, in his 30s in the first movie? I figured John and the guy would be like best buds in the future, blood brothers, around the same age, swillin brewskies. Not some dweeb of a teenage kid. That means there's at least 10 more years of fighting before John sends him back in time, and then Skynet sends Ahhnold.

Speaking of Ahhnold, I wonder how he made him look younger in this one. I assume that terminator was a CG Arnold.

The movie didn't seem to have a lot going for it storywise, either. John meets his future(past?) father, makes friendly with a robot, robot saves the day. Where's the time travel? I smell a sequel!

It was entertaining, at least.
I like to go down to the playground and watch the kids run and jump and scream, because they don't know I'm only using blanks.

Modern anime is a stagnant cesspool of regurgitated ideas.

You mean Terminator 4?   ;D

Terminator 2 was coming out on Bravo today (which I find odd because when I think Bravo, I think fashion and gay dudes, but whatever), and I was just saying how the franchise ended for me at that movie.  I did see Sarah Connor Chronicles and that wasn't so bad, but nothing that's been released touches those first two films imo.  I say they wait for Arnold to come out of office, clean up Eddie Furlong, scronge up Linda Hamilton for a cameo and make a new film that just ignores the rest of that shit.

Shadowheart, its a western, a pretty damn good one but man you don't wanna be a character in this movie, there's a 99% chance of being capped like a sucka.

Cartoonist.

To mention the numbers: he had at least two $5000 dollar chairs.  They made Jon ridiculously upper middle class.  If he was really that successful, he should've bagged Liz a looooong time ago.

I recently saw the film "Away From Her".  A good movie but kinda depressing.

Well Jim Davis based Jon on himself and I'm sure Jim Davis could afford a couple 5K chairs. The reason he didn't bag Liz earlier isn't cause she was one of those rare women that don't drop their panties at the sign of a large bank account, but because he had too much self doubt to be brave enough to ask her out.

I can't believe I'm analyzing Garfield.

Does the Harold Lloyd festival they had on TCM the other day count?  :P

Either way, some silent movies are still funny as hell after almost a century.

Didn't Arbuckle's house have damaged paneling on the interior walls in certain instances?  Not to mention all the mouse holes in the baseboards.  Of course, having a shitty cat didn't help prevent them, but you'd think a millionaire artist could afford to hire exterminators.

Yeah, what Squirrel said.  Granted, Jon was Jim, but he certainly never seemed to have Jim's career success.  I always considered Jon to be the poorer, struggling version of Jim and this status contributed to his already present social issues.  If I knew he could afford chairs like that, I never would've felt sorry for his ass.  :P

The reason he didn't bag Liz earlier isn't cause she was one of those rare women that don't drop their panties at the sign of a large bank account, but because he had too much self doubt to be brave enough to ask her out.

Yeah, but it took them over 25 years for them to hook up.  That seems, um, somewhat excessive to me.
