Yeah, RR used to be high-up on my list until I saw it again. It really didn't help to see it after watching Talespin. (Heh, there you go with "tail" again.) I have vol. 1 of TS and was surprised that TS's held up rather well after nearly two decades.
So, Disney Afternoon on the whole:
Gummi Bears never interested me.
TaleSpin's probably the best after Gargoyles.
Then Ducktales. Ducktales was probably the first cartoon I ever grew attached to as a kid along with TMNT and Looney Tunes stuff. I have a lot of nostalgia. I do notice that half of the episodes are infinetely more clever than others.
I liked RR as a child but not so much now.
I remember liking Darkwing Duck. I haven't seen that one since the 90's so I have to see how that one held up.
Goof Troop and Bonkers I more or less suffered through as a child. In fact, I distinctly remember shutting off the tv half the time when Goof Troop started. Sometimes I'd leave the TV on and there'd be an episode or two that would catch my attention. Funny tho', I like the Goofy Movie. The first one anyway.
Quack Pack does not even fucking exist to me. Biggest waste of Eddie Money EVER.
Aladdin was fine when there was nothing else to watch or do. Otherwise I ignored it for Charles in Charge reruns or some shit like that.
The Timon and Pumba show was actually kinda entertaining, but I don't think I ever watched it during the brief period it was part of the DA.
Everything else I ignored, but I recall it all being kinda shitty. The Mighty Ducks, I'm looking at you.
