This is probably how it all went down...
Comcast Exec: Hey... I've got a great idea... we can, like, buy another old show.
Comcast Exec 2: That's a great idea!
Comcast Exec: But this time, we'll, like, get an old show that someone actually WANTS to see.
Comcast Exec 2: I dunno about that.
Comcast Exec: But here me out. Instead of leaving it alone, as everyone remembers and loves it, we'll throw in a bunch of crap no one needs.
Comcast Exec 2: Hmm... that sounds good.
Comcast Exec: Yeah... and we'll add a "2.0" after it, because if it has a "2.0" after it, someone in OHIO might actually be duped into thinking this is somehow a NEW show.
Comcast Exec 2: That's a great idea!
Comcast Exec: But where do we put it? We could take off one of the other shows on the network, like Street Fury or Braniac or something.
Comcast Exec 2: I dunno about that.
Comcast Exec: OR... we can take off the best and oldest show still on the network, and put something in place of the time slot it has been airing for the last 3 years straight.
Comcast Exec 2: Hmm... that sounds good.
Comcast Exec: You know, the only one we kept around after we spent all those millions of dollars to steal TechTV's market and DIDN'T completely fuck up yet.
Comcast Exec 2: That's a great idea!
