The G.I. Jerk song is kinda catchy. With the exception of Duke, the voices are horrible. I recorded it this past Saturday because I was curious about it and lost interest when, like many imports, a kid was brought in. Who da fuck is that and what does he have to do with G.I. Joe? And why did they make Scarlet skip puberty? The Joe women were hot because they were all mature and shit.
Xiaolin Shitdown, I mean Showdown, is the little show that couldn't. Meaning that it could've been better, but it's not and I have a feeling it never will be. I found two or three episodes that were actually watchable, but have yet to find anymore. I can't believe such a blah franchise has more than thirteen episodes.
I really want to like TMNT, but I find a huge amount of that show is hit or miss. Certain storylines and arcs interest me and other episodes just make me change the channel.
The Batman is okay. Not total garbage. If it were sandwiched between two shows I really liked, I'd probably watch it. As is, I only watch when Catwoman or Batgirl appear. I don't particularly care for it.
I see 4Kids is nuturing a girls cartoon revival, but instead of cool stuff like Jem, She-ra, Beverly Hills Teens, and Maxie's World we have anorexic fairies, Mew Mews, and Bratz. The Mews I can sorta live with, but it's certainly nothing I wouldn't hesitate sleep in on. I've admitedly watched some of Winx Club, but as far as I'm concerned, there's no more story to tell. Bratz is just UGH.
Coconut Bitch, I'm not even giving a chance. Nigga please. Pokemon, why the fuck won't you die? Johnny Test? What? Sonic X has me a little bored now and so does Shaman King. One Piece is meh. Yu-Gi-Oh is still running on fumes, considering since Marik left, the damn thing's been on filler mode. And we all know the superior quality of anime filler. As for Jetix.... hahahaha. W.I.T.C.H.... what a joke. Nick needs to hurry up on new episodes of Avatar. Now THAT would definetely brighten up my morning.
SwatKats?
The Trembley brothers who created Swatkats were actually the ones (at least partially) responsible for the first Loonatics designs. Look at them again and they definetely evoke Razor and T-Bone. But really, I'm pretty sure no visuals of any kind could've saved this show. Especially since they apparently ripped off people-designs from What's New Scooby-Doo (already dreck in it's own right) and backgrounds from Teen Titans (also dreck) and Batman Beyond.
