That reminded me of something I found amusing. My mother-in-law, an OSF (Oblate of St. Francis) in the Franciscan Order of Divine Compassion, didn't vote because she was obediant to the Church's command to not vote for Kerry due to his reproductive rights viewpoint, but she said she couldn't vote for Bush in good conscience either because she also agreed with Christ's opinion of men who make big ostentatious displays of their faith and thinks that he's encouraging people to worship *him* by presenting himself as God's self-proclaimed representative sent to "save" the country. Interesting viewpoint from a 68-year-old woman in a Catholic retirement home, to say the least.

I'm questioning what the "D" Stands for in "Dangerous D".....
The best way to present my opinion in the matter is thus: If some guy, say 18, sleeps with my underage 15-16 daughter, I'd probably be going to jail and get sued for aggravated assault....Providing somebody stopped me in time and I wasn't able to hide the body. Though before initiating any sort of violence I would be inclined to find out the whole situation behind it, such as if my daughter lied about her age and if it was indeed consentual. If this is the case, I can't say that I would not be dissapointed, but I would definitely urge my daughter and the guy in question not to in a hopefully reasonable and intelligent manner.
....Or there's the good old baseball bat method.

Good reason for parents or other close adults to keep communication lines open. My aunt impressed upon me the idea of my having some responsibility in the matter when I was dating the senior guy, and that no matter the situation, HE would get blamed if we got caught. Made that "Ummm - let's not" a little easier to say.
