Apparently she impressed them with her poise and intelligence. She must have buckets of it because it apparently made the judges forget they were choosing a hot Latina and not a stretch-faced club skank. The make-up certainly does her no favors.

Talking about beauty pageants. Theres this girl here in Peru that is "Miss Cusco" and shes in the Miss Peru pageant. I know her from years cause she used to date my brother. And I dont know how she became Miss Cusco since I dont think shes cute at all. ANYWAYS shes as dumb as a brick and she just proved it to the whole country when a news reporter asked her who was Confucius and she said it was a chinese soldier -_-. They should give these girls a knowledge test before putting them in front of cameras, so embarrasing. Wasnt there a Miss World girl that had a mistake like that with a Confucius question?

In High School we were taught by a former-miss RI. All the boys were in love with her until we realized she was a cunt. Then we just treated her as such and long story short she only lasted a year.

To tell you the truth in Peru you dont even have to be from the province to be its representative (ie this girl is from Lima, not Cusco and she's still Miss Cusco). In other words , 90% of the girls are from Lima. And I dont even know how they choose them, is certainly not by the people. I think some woman just get a bunch of girls together and decides who goes for the pageant.

Basically this. She was so entitled and such that she never acted like a teacher. It was more like she was married to a rich guy (which she was) and she wanted to reach out to her community (by teaching at a basically all-white high school, we had one black kid but he was blind and adopted by white people). So she acted a bitch and got frustrated. She was extremely hot but just fucking nuts. She'd flip out over basic procrastination and yell at us how we're not acting like normal students and then try to cry her way out of it. Needless to say, we dealt with it accordingly. I myself used to throw skittles and BBs at the white board while she wrote on said board, making a loud popping noise. Others would ask her awful questions that had nothing to do with history, like why do people eat mayonaise? It was a magical time in 8th grade.

According to the online vote thing, the chick in the back middle has nearly a thousand votes and the Madonna wannabe has under 900. Then the major butterface in the pink has 300 votes and then the girl in the top right corner has a couple hundred. Everyone else is around a hundred votes or less.
