I didn't care for the BR cover.  And I usually like the songs.  I dug the Yelawolf song at the end of the past episode though.  But again, the 2nd episode is almost entirely exposition.  Like Kurt Sutter feels he needs to set up everything through dialogue.  Too much tell, not enough show.  I would venture to say half of the scenes were unneeded in the course of the story.  Like the convo between Wendy and Nero.  The viewer already knows the crap about Nero's son.  I'm with this show til the end either way, but I'm crossing my fingers that the ending to the 2nd ep means things will start picking up.

Saw the first ep of Gotham, which I thought was pretty well done.
I do wonder how long this series will go on tho since we obviously won't be seeing most of the characters as their more famous alter-ego's

They really squeezed a lot of stuff in there, which took away from it a bit.

They did cram in a lot in the pilot, but after having seen the second ep I think I could definitely get into this series. Penguin is creepy as hell.

The series however does make me worry a bit that I don't know Batman well enough to pick up on all the easter eggs

I was watching Sons of Anarchy on a live stream and the FX service died at the juicy parts.  That was fun.

I also saw 2 Secrets of the Dead on the pbs website.  Apparently, they have most if not all of them there.  Neat.

Saw the end of Gotham, most of the Flash, and Shield last night. I realized just how much I hate network television. Gotham was interrupted by all the storms that came through Monday night, so I had to download it to finish it. Then I was watching Flash after pausing the TV to eat supper, and while I was watching the delay the satellite switched it over to Shield because I programmed it to DVR that show, so I missed the last fifteen minutes of it. Had to download that one, too, and I finished it around midnight.

If I'm going to have to download all this shit,I might add well wait until later in the week to watch this crap. I've got Arrow and Constantine left to watch this week.

I'm liking Gotham. DC does do one thing right and that is TV.

I've also been working my way through Babylon 5...haven't seen this show since the mid 90s and boy the SFX do not hold up.

Missed Gotham completely, but downloaded it. Gonna miss Flash and Shield tonight, too, so g2g is gonna get another workout in the wee hours. Of course, I can never watch Arrow when it airs, so add another to the list.

Saw the first episode of Constantine (NBC Friday). It was pretty interesting. Not usually my cup of tea, but still. I'm not very familiar at all with the source material, and I avoided the film adaptation with Keanu, but the show wasn't bad at all. The next few eps will tell the tale.

Got Netflix recently because I wanted to see season 3 of Lilyhammer.(Awesome, awesome, awesome, but that's my opinion and none of you will share it).

After that I got started on Arrested Development. i've always been aware of this show but never actually seen it. So far (just started season 2) it's pretty decent.

Also in this thread, I'm still loving Gotham.
But I've only seen very mean-spirited negative reviews about this show on the net so I'm probably wrong about this show as well

Caught up with the latest ep of Sons of Anarchy.
-spoilers below-

On the plus side, I really liked that Sutter gave in and gave Chiklis a guest role as the only major Shield star that hasn't been on the show yet.
Also I got a Buffy boner from seeing Charisma Carpenter. She still looks hot.

But the main drama this entire season has been working towards, the final confrontation between Jax and Gemma was competely ruined for me by the death of Wayne.
I mean c'mon, Jax shoots the only decent human being they know and neither of them even reacts to it? They just sit quietly 2 feet away from the fucking body?
After that I just wasn't emotionally invested at all in these characters anymore. I get that the final moment was supposed to tug at the heartstrings, but I was just 'die bitch' and 'boo-fucking-hoo psycho'.
I hope Jax meets a horrible end in the finale

Too bad Constantine's future is in doubt. It's one of my favorites of the DC TV shows.

I love Sutter, too, and I'm totally down for any of his future work.  That said, the end of Sons was SHIT.  Sutter needed to be contained.  The episodes were too long and the plot too convoluted.  I watched streams with a chat box filled with other Sons fans and half the time none of us knew what the fuck was going on.  We should've been all but done with August.  Same for the Chinese.  And fuckin' Manson and the Aryans never should've been around.  Speaking of Manson, there were too many random guest stars.  The torture pr0n with Bobby and the repeated raping of Juice was just ugh.  Wayne was killed and NOBODY cared.  That was so fucking sad.  The Shakespeare quote was laughable.  As far as I'm concerned, the Season 6 finale was the true ending of the show.  Jax crying over his dead wife.  Gemma getting away with it again.  Juice always on the run.  But the S7 finale got record ratings for FX.  So I imagine this will be the trend.

I'm not touching Gotham or Constantine.  Although my interest in general is low, I've been burned too many times trying to get into a show just to have it axed.  I'm not getting into anything that doesn't have at least one full season under its belt.  Networks need to treat their properties better.

Still watching Gotham, extremely happy that Justified is back for a new season (even if it's the last one) and watching the new season of the US version of Shameless (although I still like British Frank better)

Looking forward to the next season of House of Cards and Better Call Saul which should both should come out on Netflix this month

Gotham should be interesting tonight, since they may have written out Fish's character. I figure she'll come back and whack Penguin's mom...I mean, somebody has to. Geez. And Morena Baccarin as Leslie Thompkins? Did NOT see that coming, but that's great. Hopefully they'll rewrite things a bit and have Barbara get run over by a Mack truck before the end of the season. Her uselessness is on par with masculine porcine mammary glands...as is Batchild, Dr. Whofred, Catgirl and Typhoid Ivy.

But I'm not watching it...I was busy this weekend and missed out on Constantine.

I was watching this History thing about Mankind or something.  I can't be bothered to look it up.  It was on Netflix.  Merla was the one who was actually watching it, but I caught a few eps with her.  She felt the show sort of sanitized some things and I agree.  Yeah, it didn't have a whole lot of time given what it was trying to do, so maybe it should've narrowed down its scope a bit.  And anytime people from the New World came into contact with people from the Old World, we'd shout "No!  Kill them!" at the tv.

Haven't watched much proper tv lately, but I've been watching a ton of youtube.
Most recent addiction has been the React channel, I especially like the videos of elders reacting to stuff from today and the ones with kids reacting to stuff from the 80s and 90s.

Here's some gold with old people playing GTA V

I'm staying with my dad right now and we can't stream anything here because of le bandwidth cap, but he has Dish or Direct or whatever so I've been gulping down copious amounts of various shows.  A lot of them being things I've already seen like Buffy and Daria reruns.  I love the shows about tiny houses like Tiny House Nation and Tiny House Hunters.  The latter of which has a funny title because it makes it sound like the house hunters themselves are tiny.  Right now I'm watching Teh Feud.

I rewatched the first episode of Human Target. Again. That was a great show. Maybe I should get around to finding the second season, even though I heard it was crap.

Nicktoons is showing the 2003 Ninja Turtles series.  I have all of these episodes on DVDs at home but I'm watching anyway because I don't like anything else listed in the guide.  So funny that I'm watching a lot of things I could just watch at home even though there's hundreds of channels available.  And I really want to like Star vs. the Forces of Evil but it just feels like its trying too hard.

Yeah. I've only watched one episode of Star, but it really let the air out of my balloon. Leading up to the series debut, they had shown off the intro and outro, and it seemed like it would be really amazing and unique.

Then I watched it and it's just a sitcom where "things can get a bit waaaaaacky!"

Blegh.
