As a Sailor Moon anime and manga fan I loved the live action series, though not all fans feel the same. Not sure how a Sentai fan would feel about it, though the audience seems to be a mix of anime and Sentai fans.

Have you seen all the eps so far? I saw two and didn't think it was awful, but couldn't bring myself to stick with it.

Anyway, I bit the silver bullet (heh) and saw the Teen Wolf series. Season 1 is good and mostly solid up until the finale where it feels like things were hastily put together and didn't hold up too great. What I've seen out of Season 2 doesn't leave me impressed and what I've heard of Season 3 doesn't compel me to stick with this any further. Firstly, I wish the Teen Wolf guy would turn into an actual full-blown werewolf which he doesn't. He gets teeth, claws, extra hair, and glowly eyes. MEH. Second, I wish they stuck more with werewolf lore. That feels under-utilized. Third, some of these people die and then they're back: which irritates me. It's like there aren't any real stakes if people can die and come back willy-nilly. I know a lot of shows do this but I wish this one didn't do this. Anyway, I recommend the first season to anyone who hasn't seen it yet. And then stop and imagine how the second season went because it'll most likely still be better than what we got.

Oh yeah, and Teen Wolf Tyler Posey is obviously the poor-man's Taylor Lautner although Posey has less of a caveman face.

I've seen most of them. I don't know if I've seen them all as I don't go out of my way to catch it when it is new, but NICK plays it so much that I can catch it from time to time.

I really like it. I was iffy on it at first. Didn't hate it, but wasn't insanely impressed. That started to change though as I watched more and more. The show really grows on you. The only strange thing is how many human girls get a hard on for giant turtles. First there was the Donny/April thing and now Leo is flirting it up with Shredder's daughter. Very strange. One thing if I'd have loved to have got Rocksteady and BeBop in the show and instead we get guys called Dogpound and Fishface. They fill the same roll as the above, they just aren't them. Other guys that have shown up include Metalhead, Leatherface, and Baxter Stockman and his Mousers. I think it is only a matter of time before Stockman gets turned into a fly. It's kinda the thing with Shredder henchman that serve as human's for awhile before getting mutated.

I wanted to see the new Karai so I went to go see a Turtles ep and I'm kinda mixed on her. Not completely terrible by any means but it certainly is a different take at least visually speaking. Can't voice my disappointment enough on the Shredder though. I loved the Shredder in the 80's and 03 shows and I just want this guy to go away.

One more thing about the new TMNT...kick ass theme song. In time when no one seems to do that anymore, it is nice to have.

Anyway, I knew I'd get here with all my Super Sentai watching, but I was fighting it. In the end I knew I'd lose though. I'm watching Mighty Morphin Power Rangers. I was fearful of this because I had caught some Power Ranger Samurai and Power Rangers Megaforce and both made my head hurt, but MMPR actually holds up a lot better. I don't know if they thought kids were smarter then, or they just gave more of a fuck, (Probably both actually.) but it isn't that bad really. Of Course I know it does in fact get worse, the better again, then worse, and so on and so forth.

Zyuden Sentai Kyoryuger

First time I've got in on a Sentai as it aired in Japan. Pretty good first two episodes. Better then what little I saw of Gobusters. And the sub I saw had Zyuden translated as "Voltsaur" and I guess that is kinda right. It looks more like "Electric Beast" to me, but whatever.
