Hulk Vs. is on streaming but I only saw the Wolverine portion because I don't give a rat's ass about Thor. Maybe if I find the Thor movie watchable (because that's there now as well) I'll go back to it. The Wolverine portion was still kinda dull though. It didn't get interesting until Deadpool showed up. Question about the Hulk: which is more acceptably canon - a wimpy scaredy-cat Banner or a mild-mannered but serious-business Banner? Not that I see a lot of stuff with the Hulk in it but this Hulk Vs. thing had the former and I was just wondering because I'm certain I've also seen something a while back with the latter.

I'd say the second.
I've always seen Banner as a bit of an emotionally-suppressed creep. I mean the guy used to build nuclear bombs for a living. He's the kind of guy that if he worked in the same office as yours you'd worry he'd show up one day with a gun and start shooting the place up

I actually thought the Thor one was better. But then I like Thor a lot. But the Wolverine one was kinda...meh.

And I always saw Banner as both actually. Mild-mannered but serious-business Banner, pre-hulk, but after the accident he is the more the wimpy scaredy-cat Banner for the simple reason that being anything but will let the Hulk out. I have a lot theories about Hulk and some other Marvel heroes, but spouting those theories will make me look like a super nerd even on this board.

I've started watching How I Met Your Mother, because it comes on after Family Guy, and I'm starting to like it. It's not a bad show and it can be funny.

However, the general premise sucks. The show's supposed to be about a guy in 2030 telling his two teenage kids about how he met their mother back in the present. The problem is he's been doing this for 6-7 seasons already and has yet to explain how exactly he met her mother. And I can't imagine two teens actually sitting around and not moving for the hundreds of hours it would take to tell 7 seasons worth of story. They'd be on their future social networks in a second and ignoring him.

He needs to just get around to explaining how he met their mother and devote the rest of the show to their dating, trials, tribulations, marriage, and eventual pregnancy, but the dick producers won't stop milking the fucking premise.

Despite that rant I do like the show.

Also, the local network is finally showing the new Futurama stuff, so now me-without-cable can watch them.

I started watching in the first season and dropped it for pretty much that reason. I liked the whole set-up but once I figured they were just gonna jerk us around for several years, I tuned out.

I don't get why he is telling him about all of Barney's B-stories though. Not only is that not something I'd want to tell my kids...they don't have anything to do with the overall story. This guys sucks at telling a story.

I don't get that channel and don't care enough to find a place online to watch it. Although I haven't heard anything bad about it. Other than it stars Charlie Sheen of course.
