I could never watch House, whenever I saw the guy I flashbacked to the 'a bit of Fry and Laurie' show or 'Blackadder'.
I can't take that guy seriously on an American drama

I was mostly speaking to the animation. There's no question the CG is not what we have today, but for it's time I'm pretty impressed. I can't play a 3D rendered video game from the day, but the show is still watchable so there's that.

Other aspects are a bit dated. For example in the opening 2 parter they seem to transform 2 to 3 times per episode. Seems like a ploy to sell toys. They may still do that in shows, but it's not as overt.

Didn't see the House finale but I heard what happened. I'm pleased.

Ha. I had issues with the animation until I realised I just had a really crappy quality download. Having watching the first season Blu-Rays I'd say the animation is quite spectacular.

Yeah, I watched the first season on downloaded eps first but I have the blu rays now.
The blu ray quality is amazing

I watched Beast Wars since Netflix has it on stream now and I like how the CG doesn't feel dated to me at all. It feels like it was a conscious artistic choice to make it look that way and not that the technology at the time was limited. And, kinda related to the 'ploy to sell toys' comment, it did that thing I hate where the characters are all "call me cheetor" "call me rattrap" and I'm all "why not just use whatever your name was before?" And I lol'ed because I completely erased the existence of Terrorsaur. COMPLETELY. I was all "who the fuck's that red bird thing" and realized he was nuked from my brain's archives.

Terrosaur was Beast War's version of Starscream ... at least until Starscream was there temporarily.

Yeah, I know that now. But I had totally blocked him out. My brain was all "Terrorsaur? lol fak him" and *BAMF* went the memory like a teleporting Nightcrawler. And I think I have a Kelly Bundy brain that forgets an old fact when a new one is absorbed so I don't know what I've forgotten in exchange for getting Terrorsaur back. I think I'd be okay with him leaving again and getting that space back.

Sadly, the rumors are true: there will be no season 3. The rating are just too low (though I'm convinced part of that is scheduling and it airing on a less than universal network). That on top of them delaying the US airing of new episodes until the 24th fill me with irrational fury. I love this show, and I generally don't care for Marvel stuff. Time to go download all those wonderful Australian episodes.....

I'm loving Young Justice, though somewhat less now than during the first season. It's pretty scattered right now, with all the different characters being introduced and reintroduced. I anticipate it coming together nicely.

I picked up Game of Thrones on bluray a few weeks ago. The first episode didn't grab me, but I'll pick it up again soon. Looks like it's a pretty "full" show, if you catch the meaning...lots to chew on.

I heard it has more to Jeff Loeb not liking the show wasn't made in house and wanting to bring it under the Marvel Animation banner. Basicly the same reason they scrapped Spectacular Spider-Man is the same reason this is getting the ax. I actually heard the ratings were pretty good, but they wanted something more like Ultimate Spider-Man...which isn't a good thing. It'd be like canceling Batman: TAS to have something more line line with Batman's cameo in "The New Scooby Doo Movies."

Fuck Megatron and all the Decepticons fell into Lava at the end of G1 season 1 and they all showed up in Season 2. Lava doesn't seem to kill Transformers.

Hd Concerts Live: Smashing Pumpkins

This is a concert recorded in 07 by the band. So far I haven't heard any songs I know. Course the last album I've owned was "Adore" so this must be newer stuff. Course I never owned "Gish" either, but I've heard it before. Just hope I get to hear songs like Disarm, Today, Zero, and The End is the Beginning is the End. Guess I'll just have to wait and see.

Well Smashing Pumpkins was a bust. I didn't know any of those songs. Oh well.

Now I'm watching Bush: Live from Roseland.

This one is better so far. Band takes the stage and goes directly into "Little Things" which I know very well. I just hope they play Greedy Fly.

Edit: and third song in the set was Greedy Fly.
