Oh yeah, I watched the first season of a show called Lost Girl. I'm pretty sure it's produced in Canada, but despite that it doesn't look too cheap. I mean, yeah, some of the effects are kind of meh, but overall I was impressed.

Anyway, it mostly tries to cash in on the whole vampires and werewolves brouhaha we've been seeing these last few years, but it goes even further and draws from all kinds of fairytale/mythological sources. The lead character is a succubus who typically has to dispatch a monster of the week with an overarching story about her trying to find out about her true identity.

And she has a werewolf cop boyfriend who she screws in order to recharge her batteries whenever she's had her ass kicked.

You know, that kind of show.

I saw the Roast of Pam Anderson. Yeah, that's old, but I only got to see part of it when it first came out.

I saw the William Shatner roast. Best part was watching George Takei laugh at all the gay jokes. It was mostly meh, though. Seeing this, you would not have at all been surprised at Farah Fawcett passing a few years later.

Yeah, I saw that one a couple of weeks or so ago. It was really hit-and-miss. Not hit-or-miss, it actually had really got parts and stuff that wasn't even funny. I've seen four of the roasts and here's my rank from worst to best.

Wrestlemania 27. There were some cool moments, but I was quickly reminded of why I gave up on wrestling in the first place.

Also, The Rock is officially wrestling again. Guess his movie prospects have dried up a little lately?

And look at this picture. Doesn't he just look weird somehow?

It's like... his face was a blank, but then someone dragged and dropped his features onto it, but they didn't bother making sure everything was on straight.

He just challenged John Cena to a match for next year's Wrestlemania. This year's Wrestlemania was balls. The 'anonymous GM' shit is awful and just really needs to stop. Snooki actually had some athleticism. Koslov should have been in the tag team match, that injury angle was stupid and off camera. They cut the Sheamus vs Daniel Bryan for a friggin championship and made it non-televised, just so some guy named Dwayne Johnson could talk for half an hour. Also, I never liked wrestling.

Yeah, that situation guy. A twenty-something dotard. While I realize that's an oxymoron, it's funny if you rhyme it with "retard". That was actually so painful as to force my fast-forwarding of it.

The David Hasselhoff roast was absolutely golden, though. But they also had so much to work with on that one. It was worth it if for no other reason than William Daniels' surprise "appearance".

The Hoff's has been my favorite so far. Although, at Shatner's, Betty White mentioning how it reminder her of the original roasts and that Uhura wouldn't have been let in was pretty funny.

Signing a four picture deal with Disney was a dumb idea. Totally wasn't his audience. He should have just stuck with action, since his only competition would have been Stallone and Statham.
