Many of us have voiced the numerous reasons why we're pro-Kerry. Anyone on the other side wiling to share the reasoning behind their choice?
This is not meant to blast anyone for his/her choice. I'm asking because I've gotten one of three answers from Bush supporters IRL:
1) He lives in Texas
2) My/our church told me/us to. (My sister & her husband are in this category)
3) Never change leaders in the middle of a war. (Who thought this strategy up??)
The only answer I've gotten even vaguely adressing any of the issues was regarding abortion from a church-mandated voter.
I get the impression Faye thinks Bush is cuter than Kerry, but beyond that, I don't know.
1) reason enough not to vote for him. That and he isn't a true texan anyways, just a poser playing cowboy. And when have cowboys been good leaders? Never, they lost the civil war.
2) Well Bush is NOT a Christian. No politician could be, since the idea of politics undermines the very meaning of Christ. And his wife has killed.
3) We do if we are losing. Look at Vietnam!
And Bush can't ban abortion. He can make it illegal, but that just means more women will get hurt while doing it.
Fuck Sam and his blind faith.
"As I mentioned, as many of you know, that I quit drinking alcohol in 1986. And it was the right decision for me to make then." GW Bush
1988 - "You f***ing son of a b***h. I saw what you wrote. We're not going to forget this." A drunken George W., storming into a Mexican diner in Dallas, and approaching Al Hunt (Wall Street Journal editor). Al was dining with his wife and 4 year old son, when Dubya interrupted cursing for several minutes in front of everyone.
August 29, 1992 - Caught on tape, George was carelessly pounding 'em down, boozing it up? YES! I have it

Yeah, voting against lowering taxes is so bad, isn't it?
