Luckily it's not painful (or at least it didn't reach a painful stage). It's this irritation. I haven't been able to sleep with my head to the side. I have to face ahead.
Re: Ear buds. I've think I screwed up my hearing since I loved to blast music, even with headphones. I never use buds and I when I use headphones, I usually stick a wad of cotton in there first to help buffer the sound. Anyway, gross story time:
I don't remember if I mentioned this already but too bad, here's a rerun. Back in like, 2005 I think, I got a taste of deafness. Suddenly, I wasn't able to hear out of one ear. It was a pain in the ass. People would be on that side and start talking, and I'd be all "Uh, other ear please" and it never sank in. I'd ask them to repeat themselves and they'd get all angry. Dude, I'M the one who can't hear. So, yeah, I was panicking. "It's happened, I've gone deaf!" I ended up going to a clinic to get it looked at and the guy's all "You're not deaf, it's a giant ball of wax." He got it out with this water irrigation thingy and it looked like a freakin' alien. I have no idea how in the world THAT much wax could have compacted in my ear.
A cone sounds fun.
