MiB3. Gutter trash. Would you believe it's even worse than 2? The only good thing about it is Jemaine Clement's character Boris the Animal, but even he can't save this absolute piece of shit. It's also worth noting that in the four years since his last movie, Will Smith has apparently forgotten how to act. To add insult to injury, this is the movie that has finally dethroned Avengers from its weekend reign. What a God damn travesty.

Chernobyl Diaries. For a G-rated, unforgivably clichéd "horror" movie, this was actually pretty entertaining. Vastly superior to MiB3 in every conceivable way.

But that's the thing, MiB3 has already made over $200 million worldwide. People were showing up in droves to see it on Saturday when I was there. It was gross. What is wrong with the human race?

I learned that MIB sucked when the first film came out, and I have a man crush on Will Smith.

Anyways... I watched "Westworld" the other day. That was pretty awesome, though a little cheap.

I watched "The Secret of Arrietty" again last week. That's a really awesome sauce movie.

I'm way behind on Ghibli. Haven't seen Earthsea. Haven't seen Ponyo. Haven't seen Arrietty.

I genuinely enjoyed the first Men in Black movie. Also, the animated series was wonderful.

Agree with the above about MiB. I tried watching Earthsea and I just couldn't make myself sit down and pay attention to it.

I'd skip Earthsea and Ponyo. Earthsea isn't horrible but is kind of a mess in many ways. Ponyo's just kind of stupid and juvenile.

I watched Starman last night. Hadn't seen it since I was a kid so I found it throroughly enjoyable. It's getting pulled from Netflix on Friday so I'd recommend checking it out if you like John Carpenter and/or sci fi.

Yeah I had no idea until I saw his name in the credits. There are similarities, but it's certainly a very different kind of movie to his other stuff.

Anyway, thinking about Westworld a bit this morning. It's written and directed by Michael Crichton. From this I have deduced that Jurassic Park is Westworld with dinosaurs.

I saw Bella Swan and the Odinson aka Snow White and the Huntsman last night. The one thing that you just can't ignore about this movie is that it is unashamedly extravagant. The costumes and the sets and the CG all look really, really expensive. And that's cool, everything looks nice.

But aside from that it's just an okay movie.

I looooove Ponyo! I always get a little misty-eyed at the end. And the song at the beginning ( Umi no Okaasan) is beautiful :3

I watched Rec. Wait is the original/spanish version Rec or Quarantine? Anyways I watched the original and I think the remake is better. Also I hate spaniards and their retarded accent so maybe that's why I think it sucks

I tried watching Ramona and Beezus and while I liked the characters, the story they were put in was dull as fuck. Even though it was background fodder since I was playing Facebook games while watching, I still had to shut it off and put in something more interesting.

I thought it was pretty good, though a bit juvenile. Interesting perspective to see something like that from a kid's perspective which you don't really see every day. I expected it to be about both Ramona and Beezus based on the advertising, but it was a Ramona movie with a little bit of Beezus tacked on. The magic wand reference was funny...

Anyway... I watched BATTLESHIP and it was totally awesome. Very funny jokes and although it was very cliche it was really cool.

Also watched "Man on a Ledge". It's like Oceans 11 only there are 9 less nice looking guys and 2 more nice looking ladies. The main problem with the plot is that the Man on the Ledge didn't really need to be ont he ledge for the caper to work, which kind of invalidates the entire plot of the movie...

I went to Prometheus last night, unfortunately I didn't get to finish watching it due to anxiety, so I can't really give an opinion on it having not seen the entire thing.

Based on what I did see, however, I can't say I would recommend it.

I honestly don't know why it happened. I've always had this problem over the years, I think it has to do with over-stimulation or something, I don't know. It's like I psych myself into thinking what's happening onscreen is way more intense than it actually is, and then I just kind of lose my shit. I feel like I've had it under control recently, but this was the worst it's ever been.

I was already starting to feel uncomfortable, but then then there's this one scene that involves a medical operation, and I couldn't stand it anymore. I got up to leave, tripped over a dude's foot and almost took a header in the aisle. Then when I got out into the hallway my vision was swimming and the world was just a blur of colors and lights. I started stumbling towards the washroom, overshot it by few strides and collapsed on the floor.

I don't know how long I was laying there, it probably wasn't even a minute before some of the theater employees were asking if I was alright or if I needed anything. I pushed myself up into a sitting position and that's when I noticed I was drenched in cold sweat. I managed to get myself into a stall in the men's room and just sat there until I started to feel normal again.

I tried heading back into the theater to finish watching the movie, but my head started to feel wonky again so I just walked out and hung around in the lobby waiting for my cousin.

I didn't notice it until afterward, but I'm missing skin on my knuckles and my head hurts on the right side from when I went down.

I always told myself I would never be one of the those fucking pill-poppers, but after this I think I'll be looking into a prescription.

Wow. Serious business. That was probably the best scene in the movie but it was pretty fucking intense.

Anyway I've seen Prometheus twice now and I'm really digging it. I think it's a lot like Alien. A lot of people complaining about unanswered questions but I think they're all being bitches because they saw the Lost guy's name in the credits and are looking for a parallel that isn't there.

I saw Snow White and the Huntsman yesterday. It was all right. KStu smiles 3 times.

A friend got me to watch MIBIII with him.

Entertaining at least, but fucking hell there's time travel and that just makes me want to explode in rage. They didn't explain the holes in the plot that time travel causes. I guess I shouldn't expect that from a MIB movie ... but fuck ... it made me want to start stabbing strangers and telling them I was from the past to see if I could get away with it.

Watched Coraline, got bored near the end. Is it supposed to be a kids movie or something? it looks a bit too dark

I might go watch Grave Encounters to the theater but I have to find out how scary it is before going (dealwithit)
