But imagine how much better it would've been starring Jared Leto.

And by "better" I mean "worse." :)

I saw Jay & Silent Bob Reboot.

You know, it was pretty decent.

Hope his He-Man show is good.
Political Correctness is a doctrine, fostered by a delusional, illogical, liberal minority and rabidly promoted by an unscrupulous mainstream media, which holds forth the proposition that it is entirely possible to pick up a turd by the clean end.

Yeah, me too. Pretty tough to fuck up He-Man. Well, New Adventures was... bleh. It will almost certainly be better than New Adventures.

I haven't seen J&SB Reboot but I did see that Kevin Smith is doing a Clerks 3, lol.

Wife and I both want to watch the Lighthouse and Joker but priorities and shit, oh well.

Terminator: Dark Fate wasn't awful.

But it's way past time to retire the franchise.

Watched the Phantom Menace as we're watching them all before IX. So many scenes that should have been cut or reshot.

Anybody else witness the yet again updated Han/Greedo scene? It's practically slapstick now.

I've heard about it but not seen it yet. We plan to watch it sometime in the coming weeks, much looking forward to this newly inserted insanity. It's also been confirmed this was added by George Lucas himself.

It turns out George Lucas is a lot like the great masters, never feeling that his masterpiece is ever truly finished.

Well, we just got this streaming service that's got all of them and we hadn't seen all of them in awhile...so... yeah.

Going to intersperse Clone Wars and Rebels episodes that might be important to the saga as well.

Frozen 2 was better than Frozen. There's one scene in particular where they dunk on the ubiquity of "Let It Go" and it made me laugh out loud.

I was thinking about the whole St*r WarzzZZ marathon thing, and it probably is a better idea to get the really bad ones out of the way up front.

Knives Out was fucking amazing. FUCKING AMAZING.

I was satisfied with The Rise of Skywalker. Easily the best of the sequel trilogy. I had heard beforehand that it goes too hard on the fan service, and while that's true, it only bothered me a little bit once or twice.

Now maybe after some time has passed they can do something completely fresh with the franchise.

Jumanji 2 was great.

In fact...

Jumanji 2 is a better movie than The Rise of Skywalker.

For real.

I watched Klaus and Illumination's Grinch adaptation.  Great and meh respectively.

I put it at a 20% chance that Disney was gonna shove in Poe x Finn at the end of the LOS. Kinda like a Legend of Korra thing where they get their LGBTBBQ brownie points when it no longer fucking matters anymore. But then they apparently did it with two red shirts instead.

Oh yeah, Abrams wanted to make damn sure everyone knows that Poe and Finn are all about that puss.

Also, Palpatine. Ol' Palpy sowing those wild oats! Yuck.

Speaking of, what did you think of the strong implication that Cumbergrinch was porking Cindy Lou's mom? And even though you could see it coming from a mile away, I still couldn't believe they went through with it.

Or maybe it's like old Arnold's platonic relationship with the mom in that new Terminator movie. He just likes to be useful, no sex necessary!

Underwater is a better movie than it has any right to be. I expected trash, but it was solid all around.

I actually thought they were gonna go stronger with the whole "Grinch x Betty Lou" thing (as it have it more than implied they're a couple or something) and was surprised they didn't. Pleasantly surprised because I didn't want to see that shit, but surprised none the less.

Palpy having sexy times is fucking gross.

You know, Sonic the Hedgehog is not a bad movie. In fact, it's actually pretty good, all things considered.

Which is a shame, because I think hardly anyone is going to show up for it.

Which is apparently what happened to Birds of Prey, coincidentally.

Yeah, I heard about that. And then Warner had venues change the title from Birds of Prey: And the Fantabulous Emancipation of One Harley Quinn to just Harley Quinn: Birds of Prey because they thought moviegoers were confused or something? Nah, guys. People didn't go because they're still scraping the horrible taste of Suicide Squad off their tongues. Doomed from the start.

Ah well.

You know, Sonic the Hedgehog is not a bad movie. In fact, it's actually pretty good, all things considered.

Which is a shame, because I think hardly anyone is going to show up for it.

It opened stronger than what was previously the strongest opening for a movie based on a video game (Detective Pikachu). It's also Paramounts best 4-day opening since MI Fallout (2018). They did something right with the marketing or maybe it really is something that people just want to see. Maybe even the thirst for Robotnik factored in.

Ah well.

I think there was some good logic to this decision, as far as name recognition. The listing mostly only had "Birds of Prey" because the full title is super fucking long. Harley Quinn is the main thing here, so while the full title is fine, they should have done this for showtimes to begin with. It isn't the only reason the movie didn't do well but I think it's a factor.

Good, man. Sonic is 10x better than Pikachu. 100x.

1000x.

Hyperbole, of course. I really did loathe that Pikachu movie, though.
