This is a great movie but like most movies it's not without a few small holes in the plot.

Kevin Conroy? I'm guessing that the guy from BatmanTAS right?  He did it perfect.

You got it.
Political Correctness is a doctrine, fostered by a delusional, illogical, liberal minority and rabidly promoted by an unscrupulous mainstream media, which holds forth the proposition that it is entirely possible to pick up a turd by the clean end.

You know I just remembered that Joker wanted the Russian to tell his men that he worked for him now in that scene. He refused and he ordered the guys to feed him to his own dogs. Now I don't know why you'd have to get him to tell the guys to follow his orders if they were going to do it anyway....unless of course those were not the Russians men and working for the Joker.

So the Russian (a mob boss) was travelling around with people he hadn't known all his crime career to protect him? Because mob bosses are notoriously trustworthy of henchmen that they don't know?  They were at one time working for the russian and then for no other reason than furthering the plot they decided they're not in this for the money anymore! They're CRAZZZEEE and wanna laugh and wear neon and dance around under black lights with glowstick nunchucks.

Joker was taking over. He'd already killed one mob boss, I assume these guys betrayed him because they figured Joker was going to be the new big boss. I mean he did take on Batman and not only lived to tell about it, but outsmarted him. Batman had their current boss running scared. Who would you back?

Not the guy who burned up all the money since that's why I became a criminal in the first place.

Well then you'd have to killed.

And I seriously think I'll have to take notes next time I see this movie just to settle this once and for all. I tried to find the script online, but mostly just found fake leaked scripts.

Me too.  I'm gonna ask my producer friend next time I talk to him to email it to me if he has it.  He sent me the script for thundercats awhile ago.

After seeing Transformers and hearing about the new G.I.Joe movie...I'm starting to hope that movies like He-Man and Thundercats don't get green lit.

Well after i heard about the "Awesome powet suit that lets a man run 50 mphs" and the fact that they wanted to use Heavy Duty instead of Roadblock....I decided to handle it same way I did Transformers. Only seeing it if I didn't have to pay for it.

What's sad is that I liked some of the news early on...especially casting. Ray Park as Snake Eyes was great since he didn't have to talk and you don't have to see his face. He just has to kick ass. But now it's sounding less like G.I.Joe and more like Sigma Six. And if you don't know what Sigma Six is, then just thank God.

Ha ha, I liked Sigma Six.  Not really as being G.I.Joe, but it was corny enough to laugh at for a half an hour each Saturday morning.

I think Ray Park will shine in this movie, even if it turns out to be a complete turdling.

I do agree there. It was like Patrick Stewart and Prof. X...if they picked anyone else it would be a shame.  SE is really a perfect role for him.

And I must say that Scarlett looks like Scarlett (except for the X-men like black leather outfit every Joe i wearing.), Baroness looks like Baroness, Storm Shadow like Storm Shadow...

But it's hard to look past a Marlon Wayans Ripcord.

I'm going to see Christopher Eccleston as Destro.  I think he'll surprise a lot of people who have no idea who he is.  ;D

I'll only see GI Joe if it has unintentional pr0n in it.
I like to go down to the playground and watch the kids run and jump and scream, because they don't know I'm only using blanks.

Modern anime is a stagnant cesspool of regurgitated ideas.

All I know is he was sucky Doctor Who that was before the awesome David Tennant took over.

Eccleston was merciful brain bleach for the remnants of Sylvester McCoy.   :P

MUCH better.  No rubber monsters. And one of the writers Stephen Moffat reminds of of Rod Serling at times - won 3 Hugos so far.  Download "Blink" or "Silence in the Library/Forest of the Dead" (2-part) to get an idea of what Doctor Who is like now - both pretty much stand on their own.

I still find Doctor Who a little cheesy, but better then what I watched on PBS back in the 80s.

I caught the first twenty minutes of Batman Begins on TV and had to shut it off.  What a fucking borefest.  Little Brucey falls down the well.  Oh no, bats!  I'm scarreeedd!  Odd Job's Asian cousin picks on Older Brucey and thus begins a prison brawl that could've been interesting if they didn't cheat with so many tight shots (what I call "Daredevil"-fighting because you can barely see what the fuck's going on).  Fucking Qui-Gon shows up.  Tiny Bruce's parents bite it.  "Everything's okay," says daddy and commissioner G in a moment of comedy gold.  Then Aslan trains Bruce in a fashion that could only remind me of a badly written RPG training lesson.  I'll give it the benefit of the doubt that it got much better later.  But the beginning gets a big fat F.  If I see the DVD at someone's house, maybe I'll ask it borrow it or something.  Whatever.

I'll agree that a lot of it was dull, but I appreciate that they went though the effort of giving Batman a decent backstory and explanation for all his abilities, armament, money, drive, etc. instead of hand-waving it like they did in the previous round of Batflicks.  And the rest of the movie more than made up for any tedium early on.

I watched Babel the other night and thought it was really good.

As for new movies?  Religious isn't playing in my town and I haven't had the opportunity to see W, although my boyfriend has taken the time to see both of them while I'm working.  Jerk.
The wife forgave the mistress for she only entertained.
