I hear that if you maintain a low-enough daily caloric intake, the brain will engage in a survival fuel efficiency mode that reduces cellular degeneration and allows the heart to rest more. Thus, the body ceases to age normally, in some cases even reversing the process. It doesn't negate the possibility of being hit by a truck though.

I was forced to watch Dirty Dancing so many times that I can't stand it. Otherwise, it would be a good movie.
