I started watching Fairy Tail. Don't know if I'll stick with it. It's amusing enough but I was able to skip two episodes while it was in the midst of a plotline to no real detriment. Seems like something I could probably wait for Netflix to stream next year or whenever. And it's going to be released in a Blu-Ray/DVD combo pack. Yay. Two discs I won't be able to use. That doesn't exactly make me keen to buy it.
I also saw some shit on Netflix. I don't remember the names but one was this vampire anime with these badly-drawn bishounen (because you know that's what they were supposed to be except they were badly drawn) and in the first few minutes this dudes whining about sharing his cinnamon roll. HUH. Ditched it from the Instant Queue.
Another was something with some redundant-ass title like Heroic Heroes of the Heroic Age or some crap. This one wasn't bad, but I just found it a little dull and uninteresting.
Also, because I wanted something playing in the background that I wouldn't have too much interest in, I played some Inuyasha on Netflix. The later shit where I had long since bailed on the series. In one ep, it was really glaring how uninteresting the main characters are. There was this plot with Kikyo that was just so much more compelling than any of the repetitive shit the school girl and her doggies were doing. And the Band of Seven guys really knew how to steal the show.
