The wiki article for Godzilla: Final Wars really blows the proverbial cock of Japanese Godzilla films and the Final Wars film... but I saw a screenshot of "Zilla" (on wiki, I think) and it looks like typical shitty Japanese CGI.

I think that was on purpose. They wanted to show that rubber suits were better than CGI but they cheated by making the CGI as lame as possible.
