Well, I asked a navy expert that I work with (I'm pretty sure he served on a sub at one point in his life) and he said, no, they wouldn't be carrying around a wallet with them on the ship.   Therefore, he would have been carrying it separately in his pocket.  The question isn't why wouldn't he have them... the question is, why was he carrying them in his pocket on THAT day?   A day in which he was supposed to be in the kitchen and they weren't near shore.

Answers are 1) banging other dude(s) or 2) banging whatever he had in the oven.  For the sake of my eating tonight... I hope it was the other dudes.

I read that from Half Past Dead on, his action scenes were shot with a stunt double and his scenes from the waste up.  :\

Saw the trailer for that earlier and I was like, what the hell is this?

I am shocked that my spooie account still works.  Though, it says I joined in October 2000, though I know it was before that.  Of course, was one of those rare people with a local AND global... local at Ass-spank in fall of 1999... but I know the global account was well before that.

I had the same problem.  Didn't log out of youtube in a while, then, all the sudden, I needed some google account to get in.  But I couldn't reset my options to make it, because I no longer have the email I used to create my current youtube account after they banned my first one.  Yet, I couldn't get in to do anything, because they logged me out from their end.  So I was basically fucked.  But somehow I ended up linking it to a nonexistent gmail account to get back in.  So if anyone ever registers my gmail account, I guess I'll be fucked again.  I don't want a gmail account.  I don't need it.  I have a roadrunner account for all my shit.

5
I've only seen part of it, but isn't Kurt Russell's SOLDIER also set in the same world as Blade Runner?

It's called "Comic Life."  It used to be an Apple-exclusive app that was packed in with the old Intel iMacs from 2006.  Sadly, it was not a pack-in with my new iMac, and has since required a $30 fee to buy the program in it's newest version (with a 30-day trial).  The good news is that there is a version out there for PC users now too.   Lots of different styles and customization is very simple.  One of the easiest art programs of any kind I've ever used, quite honestly.

http://comiclife.com/

More random crap, from Resident Evil and Street Fighter.   Was testing out both the program and my new HD TV Tuners last night...

I don't quite get the whole St*r WarzzZZ fascination myself.  What I get less though, are all the TV shows out there that try to act like they're smart and clever and hip by doing all these "St*r WarzzZZ Special" episodes.  I am convinced that anyone who uses St*r WarzzZZ as a network of reference material after three decades, that they are just completely hacks looking for attention from the most gullible fan base in the world (congratulations, you've outdone Star Trek!).

Then again, I used to live by Transformers lore.  But that thing has been shit out so many times in so many ways, I honestly couldn't care about it less anymore.

I'd eat either of those.
That's what SHE said.   And then she ate both of them.  :aroused:

You had to find the ONE version of that video that was uploaded to the internet with digital pasties, didn't you?

I was bored and wanted to try out the program again, so I made this...

I had a lot of fresh mozzarella and ham in there... both of which contain a lot of moisture, and I think as it heated, the moisture literally blew a whole through the bottom of the thing and it exploded out the side.  When I tried to lift it, the thing fell to pieces.   I was making three different kinds to bring into work for a party... but so much for that.   I let my dough rise overnight, so I couldn't make another one in time.   So I took a picture in case anyone asked where the other one was.  And these people I work with get on my ass when I don't bring it in at parties.   I think sometimes they come in to work just to eat it.

When I read "garbage bread", I immediately pictured you going through all the motions of making the dough, putting it in the pan, sticking it in the oven, waiting for it to bake, and then when it's done promptly dumping the hot loaf directly in the trash.

Most of the time, it ends up like that, anyway.

It's called Garbage Bread, because you can put anything inside it.  Any cheese, any meats, any veggies... whatever.   I generally put pepperoni and cheese or ham and cheese in mine.  Sometimes I'll let the shit hit the fan and throw pepperoni, ham, salami, capicola and about 7 or 8 cheeses in there... and some spicy mustard.  I bring it into work and everyone eats it up like vultures swooping down on their prey.  The only downside is that the more you put in there, the heavier it becomes... and the more liquid inside (see ham), the better the chances are it will explode in the oven.

Anyway... here is some that I made a year or two ago...  it's light on both the pepperoni and cheese.  I think I only used sharp in that one.

There was a clip on youtube maybe 2 or 3 days ago with the "NOOOOOOOOOO!" but it was probably taken down already.

15
Wait... what about gay semen now?

Anyway... they were on a mission.  Be it a week or two out, they might get some leave of duty... but the guy's carrying it around with him NOW.

As for Busey... well... hmm...

Yeah.  Unfortunately, she doesn't realize its spam.

17
When I make garbage bread, which I use with  pizza dough, I put every cheese I can find in it.    Blue Cheese is great for that sort of thing.

Well, we never SEE a wallet.  Just him opening the package.  In fact, no wallet anywhere in the movie.  Would a cook on a navy ship where you don't really need to buy anything or require identification, even be carrying a wallet in his pants when on duty?

I have a relative that keeps copying and pasting everything she reads that says "if you BLAH BLAH BLAH, repost this message!" regardless of what it is, as if the Facebook police are going to ban her if she doesn't.   What is worst of it is that a good number of them are long-debunked urban legends, or posts that don't even make any damned coherent sense.  And her friends will comment about them in some panic.  Like that Facebook is going to start charging people to use the site, because it was all over the internet and on TV... the internet and TV that apparently 6 billion people DON'T use.   I will often link to snopes or somewhere to show her that none of this stuff she is posting it real and she's just continuing the chain of some big hoax... but then she'll take that post and re-post what *I* posted and tell me "Oh, I didn't know, one of my friends posted it so I was just passing it on."

I think I may have friended two people in the last year.   The desire to find people died after about two weeks.  But what pisses me off is when someone sends ME a friend's request, and then takes me of a month later.   I can understand if *I* friend them and I end up being a dick or something and they don't want me to be part of their online acknowledgment, but what the hell is that shit?

So I'm watching, trying out my new TV Tuner on my PS3 and recording Under Siege on my computer in HD to test things out, when something strange that I had noticed many years ago but never actually thought about clicks with me.

About an hour and seventeen minutes in, Casey is with Jordan making some home-made explosive devices with the help of a missile, when he pulls out a condom to use for it.

Okay... people carry condoms on them from time to time in the hopes that they'll get some at some point... but the thing is, the ship he was only had a male ONLY Navy crew.   In fact, the only people who knew Jordan was coming where the guys trying to take over the damned thing.  So if he's carrying that thing around in his pocket the entire time, on a ship with only guys, for months at a time... what is he going to do with it?  Exactly what does he have planned with the Captain anyway?  Taking into place the "gays in the military" stance of the 90s, he WAS put on the ship as a "special request" by the captain, after all.

And as Crimson Tide, another 90s Navy film taught us, "You don't put on a condom unless you're gonna fuck."  Well, I'm guessing you don't carry one around either, unless you plan to.  Something tells me that the stripper party wasn't the only one that was to take place on the ship.  But that ear wiggling stuff is starting to make much more sense now.

Therefore, is it safe to say that Casey Ryback is the greatest gay action hero?

I watched Star Trek: The Motion Picture for the second time, and first in 15 years or so, last night.

He didn't even know she hacked it off until he woke up.  He was asleep the whole time.

But, I dunno, he later ended up going into the pr0n industry.  I think something like 6 months after it was re-attached, he had a contract for Bobbitt: UNCUT or something along those lines.  I remember him on Sally Jesse Rapheal talking about getting into pr0n, and they had the kid from "The Toy" who also went into pr0n when he grew up.   To think he wasted a perfectly good pun title on that movie with Richard Pryor.

In the end, one of my favorite Law and Order episodes is based around the incident, so it can't be that bad.   But I still think he got the short end of the stick on that one.   ;)

Lorena Bobbitt, how we've missed you.

I was thinking of getting Netflix too.  But I'm sure I'd only end up streaming stuff.

Anyone know if you can record streams off your game systems?

I don't know how else to explain it. I've eaten various brands of donut in my time, as well as homemade, and they always leave this funky taste in my mouth afterwards. Maybe it's just me.

Maybe that's not donut glaze you're eating on there. :\

Microsoft will show off an FPS set in the not-to-distant future involving something regarding either robotics of cyborgs, where you shoot things with big guns in a harsh grey environment over Xbox Live. They will also talk about something that ties Xbox Live into Windows somehow, that no one will care about. They will then show off 3 more games like the above mentioned one, and then talk about how great Kinect sales are.  Some celebrity (either sports or musician) will appear to plug something. If sports, a service (with comedy segment!), if music, a game.

Sony will show off some sort of new hardware device without actually showing off anything on the hardware device, using CGI videos to portray how "lifelike" things are, with the inclusion of rubber duckies and lots of charts. They may toss the word "Standard" in there a lot and make allusions to sales figures of previously released software, all after Jack Trenton shows up to crack a few jokes.  Marcus meanwhile is nowhere to be found, nor the mention of Playstation Home or PSP Go.

Nintendo will show off 3DS stuff, talk about some new project that they're working on that may or many not ever come out (vitality sensor) or will be forgotten by them after a year (e-reader, Wii zapper). They will show off around 3 new Wii games, including the new Zelda game (this will be the one they refer to as "hardcore" to show that the Wii is for "hardcore" gamers), and they'll probably throw a random 3rd party game in there to show that 3rd party games "sell" on the system.  One of the "big N" games they show off will never be released (Pennant Chase Baseball, Kirby's Adventure GCN, Project HAMMER, Disaster Day of Crisis for the US).

What say you?

27
To be fair, PSN was broke before it was launched.   It's kind of like the PSP Go's marketing strategy.

28
Wait... you guys don't eat toothpaste?  It's just like cake frosting from those candy tubes.

I thought it was "Free Donut Day" ??? I know Krispy Kreme and Dunkin Donuts were both doing it.

I went to the basement store in our building and one of the customers saw a donut bag sitting on the counter and commented that the shop owner went over to get one (there is a Dunkin directly across the street).  He said that he hadn't, that someone came in to buy something and forgot it and never came back.  The customer said that Dunkin was packed and it took people 40 minutes in line to get their donut.

Part of me has to feel sorry for whoever the poor bastard was that waited 40 minutes to get his donut and then completely forgot about it when he went to the store.

Another part of me has to feel happy knowing that people stupid enough and batshit insane enough to stand in line for 40 minutes to get a 99¢ item for free were doing that instead of molesting children or putting firecrakers up someone's butt.

I have read that Xmen: Frirst Class is second only to X2.  I'll probably go see it in the next two weeks or so.
