I feel so bad for the guy.

None of the jokes about his mother being insane or killing her husband are fictitious.
10,000 steps down, round and round. One night on the town and I'm hellbound ... Black oceans beneath, come and swallow me. My little tower, seal my fate. Help me pay back, end their hate. Black oceans beneath, come and swallow me

And people think my stuff I say about my sisters are sick jokes...

Well, with him, it's a pity thing.

Your sister is just a barrel of hilarity.

Mine is Yes Dear, which sometimes stars Titus. Yes Dear is a great show.

Never seen it.  I miss Married with Children and Roseanne.  I don't think I've seen any non-animated sitcom with any regularity since the 1990's.

Too many sitcoms are too frickin' white-middle class.  Can't relate.  Or they're just painful, like George Lopez.

Yes Dear is that great one where neither husband is middle class. The main husband, Greg, is an upper class executive who has a hot wife and a great job in Hollywood. His brotherinlaw (Mike O'Malley) who lives in his guesthouse is a poor slob who works security at the studio.

They constantly make jokes that other shows wouldn't... :)

I can't explain more than squirrel eating, Maury Povich and his wife trying to swing with the 2 families, and perhaps the greatest character actors playing the best dysfunctional in-laws ever.

And they discuss moobs.

It blew my mind when Yes Dear referenced Legend of the Overfiend.

Anyone catch Titus' Showtime Special "Norman Rockwell is Bleeding" about a year and a half ago?  It wasn't that bad.

Yes I did. I really liked it. It's good to see there are people whose life is more fucked up then mine. Which is why I come here as well. I mean every time I'm feeling down, I just come here and think; "Well at least I'm not Doug." and I feel better.

That's kind of how I'd  feel about writing stuff.  I'd just pop in Batman and Robin, and realize no matter how bad my crap is, if that shit can get made for $120 million... anything is possible.

True enough. I keep a book called "Snowman" by Norman Bogner, nearby at all times. I've read this thing and it's utter trash. And I figure if this guy got published then how hard can it be? It actually calls him "Bestselling author" on the back. That gives me even more hope. LOL!

Let me guess... New York Times?

Someone once said something like "90% of all books at one point in time, are a New York Times best seller".

I don't know...it doesn't say. But New York Times list is what I'm shooting for. Once you get on that list you can slap it on the cover and triple your sales....even though it doesn't mean much. Isn't that list like 500 books long or something like that?

I think it is, actually.

See... if I had a book I needed to sell, I'd just buy Oprah a box of donuts.

Yeah, but I'd hate to be on her show being blasted for making stuff up in my book. I mean the whole thing is made up, that's the point.

Oprah: "So why is it you make stuff up for your book?"
Someone on this board: "Shut the fuck up, you big black bitch. IT's a FICTION BOOK."

I don't want it to be easy, I want it to be right.
