I think the funniest part of the story is you didn't know who Warren G. Harding was.  Come on, man, he's widely considered to have had the most corrupt administration in U.S. history (and before anyone tries, no, Bush's can't hold a candle to it).

And he nominated former president Taft to the Supreme Court.

Yeah, letting the South have their way again was pretty bad, unless it's proven the Bushies caused 9/11 to bring on the Apocalypse.

My modern U.S. history professor in college basically said there were two Presidents whose administrations are regarded as failures among historians...those of Harding and Grant.  The ironic thing was that both were allegedly honorable and honest men, but that they promoted their friends to office too much and didn't keep a close eye on them.

I mentioned to him at that point that the Carter administration should be considered for the third part of the triumvirate of suck.  He said he thought the idea had some merit.
Political Correctness is a doctrine, fostered by a delusional, illogical, liberal minority and rabidly promoted by an unscrupulous mainstream media, which holds forth the proposition that it is entirely possible to pick up a turd by the clean end.
