Uncle Update:
Well. One Lung, One Kidney, no Spleen... From what I'm overhearing, Uncle Len's going on Dialysis very soon because his one kidney's not working.
He received 3 pints of blood. That's how low he was for a week! They should have GIVEN him that blood when he went to the hospital the first time to get the long.
And then the stupid Doctors tell him to split his heart medication in half, which COULD HAVE POTENTIALLY KILLED him because it would've flooded his system rather than a gradual release like it's fucking supposed to.
FUcking health care. Stupid, FUCKING Health care system in America.

Unfortunately, it depends on the attorney. In our suit for my dad's death ours asked for 10 million, then dropped the suit against the HMO & the primary care physician like an idiot, which effectively let everyone off the hook since all they had to say was that they had to do what the primary care physician told them to do. We ended up with $18K each after Shithead took his cut; however, the case helped shut down NylCare in Texas.
