I wasn't asking for advice unless someone had it. I'm more curious whether I should get the faster $50 computer or not? Or pay $30 an hour for service.

It didn't matter, I had found the problem, bad video card and modem was incompatible with the computer. But since my life is screwed up, of course something else goes wrong.

While installing a driver, Win2k got screwed up. First the computer would freeze at the login screen, then I started getting a BSOD when Win tried to load. Augh, I fucking hate this computer! And it isn't even mine!

I'd just reinstall windows IF I had the disk for it, but I don't. So I either have to spend the $30 an hour, buy a OS disk, or get the $50 computer. Either way it's going to cost me money.

I heard tell of her at allstalk and then saw the link to this place at shwiggie's board and decided to chell it out.

Back when the Ass-spank was cool and you could say anything you wanted in 'Beast Mayhem' (which was the POINT of Beast Mayhem, somthing a P.C. lardo who has lust for Merla has since forgotten) a small group of us were pretty regular posters.

I'm not sure what Nuri's purpose for creating her own board was (other than to avoid inane Transformers related humor, that and creating personal EZBoards back in the day was easy and trendy) but about a dozen or so of us or so began to post here. Rama, Toe, Shellspark, Firebird, Doc Evil, MPhage, Strafe and myself were among some of the original posters.

No idea how D got here to be honest, but I know Faye found us through Google, if I'm not mistaken... So anything's possible.

Hard to believe that there was a time when the people on the Ass-spank actually knew who I was. And yeah creating your own board was kind of a trend back in 99-00. I had Rama's Corner for awhile., which now only survies as a Forum on a Star WarsRolplaying board that I don't even go to anymore.....but they still haven't changed the name.

And I always wondered how Faye got here. Now I'm curious what she put in the search engine that made this place pop up. HA!

I told you people how I got here! I was searching for lyrics for the song - i dont remember its name- but it was the pokemon song sang by m2m(and i dont watch pokemon, i don't know how i got it) and i got this webpage on google. then i looked aorund and it was rhe time when i had my *ehem* thing for Legolas so I saw a pic of Rumble, and it has been true love since then ha!

fuck im still drunk, have class in half an hour and i have to go to the maxim party at 8pm. sucks ASS.

Easy and trendy pretty much summarizes it. I just wanted my own board. And it was at the time where you just set up one and it was all ad-free and shit. It wasn't until much later that I actually used it to retreat from other boards.
