Hell I don't know. I had a lingerie fashion show in some benefit event for New Orleans, and they were giving there alligator salad. At 200 bucks per ticket, I bet it was from a damn good place.

Venison is really greasy from what I remember...it's kinda similar to leg of lamb, just really different.

For some reason I'm afraid of trying venison....what if the meat comes from a roadkill ??

I remember venison as tasting and smelling rank. I thought it was spoiled, but everyone else stopped eating long enough to assure me it wasn't and ate my serving as well, so I guess it was good.
